Previous: Golden Opportunity lost (CYOAH)
With the bombing of Berlin, which Göring had promised would never happen, the Führer is in a difficult position. For one thing, the Battle of Britain, despite losses, is still going increasingly in Germany's favor. However, the attack on Berlin must be dealt with.
Therefore, Göring demands that attention be diverted to London and the other major cities, and three days after the attack on Berlin, the British face the full wrath of the Luftwaffe: massive damage to London, Birmingham and Liverpool shudder the cities. The next day also features another heavy attack, and the day after, and the day after.
Churchill, realizing that Göring has decided that the cities must be razed to the ground, decides to capitalize on the German mistake. The RAF starts to regain its strength, building new fighters to confront the Nazi Blitz.
However, Fighter Command is very weak, and the populace of London and the other cities are growing wary of the war and the constant bombing. What will the British do?
