In OTL 1913 The Gentiloni pact was agreed upon in order for Giolitti to gain the votes of Catholics. However, Giolitti decides not to do this, fearing that it would decrease the support of the socialists even further.

Points of Divergence[]

Although the main POD is the early spread of the Treaty of London to non-signatories, for the sake of plausibility a few more PODs will be introduced.

1913 - The Gentiloni pact does not occur as Giovanni Giolitti fears that he will lose support of "moderate" Socialists. Giolitti therefore remains prime minister and supports Italian neutrality during World War I.
