Gioapania was a kingdom in Southern Japan between 324 and 349. It was the first large Japanese kingdom.

Gioapania was formed as a result of the unity the Japanese people felt after the Japanese Land War. The capital was Kyoto.

In 349, the kingdom was divided into two, a northern and a southern kingdom. The division was a result of internal dispute and the government's inability to keep order over the large population.
By the 400s, both kingdoms were completely diminished into small city-states like that of before Gioapania.
