Germany, or Deutschland is located in central Europe, at the juncture of northern, western, and eastern Europe. It is bordered on the north by the North Sea, Denmark, and the Baltic Sea. Germany is one of the most industrial nations in the world, but many of its towns still have a traditional feel to them.
Germany is a federal republic made up of states with high levels of autonomy. States can have differing laws, and have co-official languages alongside High and Low German.
