World War I
In this timeline, German Empire was the major winner of World War I. It crushed French and British armies on Western Front in the first days of war, then turned east and defeated Russia, and finally established a number of satellite kingdoms in western and eastern Europe. Although it has lost the colonies in the Pacific, it has gained territories in Africa.
World War I losses for Germany amounted to 350,000 on Western Front, 50,000 in the Balkans and 900,000 on the Eastern Front, up to a total of 1,300,000 military dead.
After the War, Germany continued to grow as a powerful continental empire and industrial power, under the chancellorship of P. von Hindenburg and F. von Papen.
In 1937, Germany had the most powerful Armed Forces of the World. These were vast and very advanced, in terms of technologies, firepower and tactics.
