George H.W. Bush was the 41st President of the United States (1989-1997), serving two terms. Notable for leading the victory in the First Gulf War and defeating terrorists and warlords in Somalia, he sent over 70,000 American troops into Somalia and drove the warlords out by 1995, and killed many terrorists including a rising al Qaeda leader named Osama bin Laden.

Bush was praised by conservatives for his appointment of conservatives to the United States Supreme Court, particularly Clarence Thomas, Edith Jones, and Michael Luttig. Bush has been criticized by liberals because of the reversal of Roe vs. Wade in 1995. In spite of this, Bush continued in his polices, lending America's military might to stop genocide in Rwanda, Yugoslavia and South Sudan thereby gaining much praise worldwide.
