The French Imperial Colony of Malta or Malta is an colony of the French Empire and is located directly south of the French state of Sicily, and is completely surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. It currently has an population of approximately 452,000 people, making it France's least populated colony. The capital is Valletta and the largest city is Birkirkara. The most-spoken launguage in the colony is Maltese, but the official language is French.
