As Mussolatinimus swept through Europe the French were hit hard as they lost a third of their population to the virus. Even though they lost a considerable amount of their population they expanded while their neighbours were dying and now control french speaking states of Belgium. They granted independence to Occitania-Catalonia as riots were becoming normal in the region.

Their capital “Paris” is a classical city for its time and has the best tourist attractions in all of Europe. The capital has 700,000 inhabitants as the majority of the people in nearby small towns and villages moved to the city to seek health care and jobs.
The French Republic is a democratic republic and their laws and constitution has stayed the same since the end of WW2.
