South France played a key role in the destruction of national socialist regimes across Europe, and was instrumental in the British Isles War, in which the British were liberated from the national socialist dictatorship led by Oswald Mosley.
Eventually, national socialist Germany aided North France in crushing a rebellion in 1994, which began the French War. However, South France then invaded the north and, with the help of many allies, defeated North France and Germany, and reunified the two nations under a new constitutional republic, which constitutes the nation that exists today.
