Chinese State Flag

Flag of the CS from 1961-1972

< Main Page

In 1961, the CS replaced their flag with the one most connected to them. The black represents the darkness outside the State, and the white text represents peace inside of it. The two bars of white symbolize heaven and hell, and how they are both better than the world outside of the State. The text in the flag means "The State is Eternal (Zhuàngtài shì yǒnghéng de)" in Traditional Chinese.
