of all the states in the european union, finland is the most independant. it has maintained trade links with the US, and is seen by some as a rouge state. when Nordland was created, there was talk of adding Finland to Nordland, however Hitler interviened. the powerful German armies stationed nearby and the Interceptor missile bases in Finland keep Finland firmly with the Axis in response to rumors about Finland breaking off from the axis.
