This is initially meant as a temporary logo. I really have no idea what the logo of this organisation would look like. However, remember that the statue was designed (by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi) and constructed by the French. The statue has since its construction become a symbol of freedom and democracy.

I knew about the origin of the statue but realisticly, outside of the US, it is seen as first and foremost a sign of the US and nothing more.
