World Rivalries (Map Game)

Rules

1. Implausibility is obviously outlawed.
2. The Game will start in 1490 a few years before the American discovery
3. New turns start on 01:00 PST on each day.
4. You can only choose one nation.
5. Playing as colonies is forbidden, Unless the player gives a some sort of self ruling and that he agrees with you playing as one of his colonies.
6. Mods can strike out implausibility. However, the reason must be stated.
7. Turns will go in full years.
8. Mod events must yet have some reason or to be based on the current events in the nation. only ethnically regions can revolt without major reason.
9. If someone becomes very implausible, we will have a vote to keep them in the game, or to kick them out of the game. This rule applies to players and mods.
10. Please try to abide by the rules.
11. Mods' words are law, unless proven wrong. In which case you need to give proof that they are if you want to undermine them.
12. Countries' names only changes (sometimes) under government change.
13. Colonization rules will be Given in a more complete rules page.

The Holy Roman emperor reaction to the Separation of Savoy is active, Austria and Bohemia, Brandenburg and Westphalia move troops to Switzerland and the French come to stage an invasion of Savoy. Venice backs the action of the empire joining forces with the Austrian fleet and trying to pass through The Channel of Otranto, but a fleet of Neapolitan, Savoyard, Greek and Tunisian ships met with them and sinks the fleet of 35 vessels of the Austrian-Venetian coalition with only the lost of a few ships (ten) from a fleet of 70 ships. The Austrian fleet only manages to keep five ships that return to Austria. While this, the forces in Switzerland prepare for the attack but for now they remain in the Switzerland.

The Bulgarian territories of the Ottoman enter crisis as the war now comes from the north, the Vallachians and now called the Kingdom of Romania with the secret aid of the Hungarians manage to repel the forces of the Ottomans. Bulgarian revolts begin to occur but the Ottoman continue pressuring the people to keep their control. While this, the Sultan begins considering an invasion of Egypt as soon as the revolts end in order to establish some sort of recovery for the losses. Romania asks Poland for their help against the Ottomans.

The English are defeated in a fleet battle in Manx as a group of Scottish ships attack the English fleet preparing to land in the north of the country to start a dual sided invasion, the Scottish morale rises again and many begin to think they can hold off the British

Spanish Florida expands by 5 px towards Georgia, French colonies expand by 5 px, Burgundian colonies expand by 6 px, the Venetian colony expands by 10 px as many traders begin to enter the small colony in an unusual event for gold found and brought to Europe by the Portuguese. Portuguese colonies expand by 7 px in the Antilles

The German pest begins to fade down in the north but it begins entering in Bohemia and northern Italy through Venice (Thanks to the Venetian coalition).

Granada conquers Algeria after several years of invasion.

Morocco:  Intellectuals are sent to the capital and the military system is reformed. The military is reformed and professional military begins to be organized.  Olives and wheat are planted as the unemployed were sent to build qanats.  New Tangiers expands by 2 px. We continue expansion along the Sahara Coast. We build our first arquebus workshop. Our second colony, New Casablanca expands by 2 px. We begin mobilizing our forces towards Tunisia.

Ming Dynasty: The navy continues to be improved. More ships are built, and new harbours are built. Aid and clean up continues for the colony of Taiwan. The 青娥 (Qing'e) colony expands by 4 px. Meanwhile, a new colony, called Mai is set up on OTL Luzon Island.

• Ryukyu Kingdom: The Ryukyu Kingdom continues to improve their navy.

Polish-Lithuanian Union: one-hundred and fifty students graduate from the University in Kracow, studying mostly literature, medicine and military strategy. Five more towns are established in Red Ruthenia, their styles and layouts reflecting the Wschodni Renesans mix which continues to be popular among new and old towns. The recent medical university students continue to study and isolate the cause and prevention of the recent flu outbreaks. Mikolaj Kopernik nears total completion of his heliocentric model since his mathematical apparatus, which uses complex mathematical calculations based on relative position of both the earth, the moon and the sun to other celestial bodies and their occurrence and positions that change in the night sky. The Archbishop of Capua surveys and approves of Mikolaj's work, and encourages him to publish it in the Commentariolus. We continue to expand towards Crimea by 4 px. King Sigismund I meets with Polish and Lithuanian Nobles to determine how to expand their ties beyond a personal union. We declare war on the Ottoman Empire and its remnants at the behest of Romania. We invade Crimea to relieve pressure from Romania.

• Duchy of Ordensstaat: The Wschodni Renesans continues to become popular in the Duchy, its use extending greatly to churches continuing the Eastern Catholic church art. The renovation of the church in the courtyard continues and nears completion. War is declared on the Ottoman Empire and its remnants in support of Poland-Lithuania. 

Inca Empire: Variola minor the scourge ravaging the northern part of the Empire, is found out to be some sort of plague as told by the Neapolitans and steps are taken to adjust thinking and how to contain it. Villages disappear under this and within months hundreds of thousands are infected and counting, the predicted death rate for this disease is predicted to be about three million with other minor cases and then lack of infection. The Empire however uses the choke points of the highway system, various protective measures, and the military to establish a perimeter in and around the middle of the northern section of the empire to prevent further spread of the virus. The Inca also finish construction of their written language. The Emperor moves to the southern capital for the time being. The ships constructed by the Empire begin to actually model after European/Neapolitan design using their more advanced state to advance ship technology. The Inca begin to navigate the seas more thoroughly and two separate expeditions are planned, one up the coast of the Americas and another across the ocean. The Inca continues to expand on all fronts. A few guns are acquired in illicit trade from Neapolitans and some other European traders.

• Ico: Ico continues to expand and seeing some of the disease devastation to the Northern Inca, seals its borders and only allows high level officials into the nation. Ico begins to expand farther and its population grows to 1.3 million.
• Pisac: Pisac's population expands to almost 750,000 and continues to expand. Iron becomes standard use and is regularly exported and made for the Inca empire. The Economy continues to expand.
• Amazonia: The Amazons continue to Expand and their population reaches 170,000. The vassalization of the next group of Amazonians is continued for the Inca. Expansion continues to the east.

The Ottomans set up a huge defensive line throughout their remaining controlled territory and they begin to lift more troops to stage a massive invasion of Europe for Recovery. 

A Second Venetian-Austrian fleet much smaller than the other coalition makes a daring assault on the coalition and manages to wreak massive damage throughout coalition forces leaving the Neapolitans and their allies baffled.

The English make a huge push into Scotland encircling the only remaining main army and wiping it out. It's possible that England may seize Scotland after years of war. Meanwhile, their colony expands by 5 px.

The Portuguese and other colonies in the Gulf of Mexico heading all the way up to Mexico suffer greatly as a uncatalogued storm blows through and destroys much infrastructure. 

The Aztecs, now done with Variola minor and with almost 1.7 million of a population of 5.5 million killed, begin to recover.

The Inca Empire has finished suffering from the full effects of Variola minor with 5.5 million dying throughout the empire out of 18 million.

Inca empire: The Empire after suffering from this disease contracts to a degree to help rebuild its population. It helps with rebuilding the empire by annexing the nation of Pisac and setting Ico up for Future annexation. With almost half a million people being annexed from Pisac which was isolated and virtually untouched by the virus the Inca empire stands at about 14 million. The Empire seeing the possibility of the Inca being wiped out by the Gods for whatever they had

done wrong, makes the decision that they will expand to the point where the Gods cannot possibly kill all the Inca peoples. With this, the Emperor, even with a declining economy, sends the two previous expeditions to the north and the west with both given orders to establish a settlement wherever they end up. The Emperor orders more intense study of the White man's ships whenever possible in order to improve the Incas naval capabilities. The Empire population begins to recover due to the vast surpluses of food that are still available. the Inca population increases to 14.2 million due to this. The use of horses continues to be adopted as the Inca get the knowledge of how to train and care for them more readily available. Research into more advanced weapons continues. A few Inca peoples begin to adopt Christianity learning it from the Neapolitans. The Inca continue to study the previously acquired rifle and its components trying to discern the formula of what is being called "Fire Powder"

• Ico: The city suffers moderately from the disease and continues to improve upon its military and agriculture. The nations expansion is met with some issues as the resources begin to be semi scarce due to less agriculture and mining. Ico begins to attune more towards joining the Inca to form a unified State.
• Amazonia: The Amazons continue to expand and settle themselves and continue to Influence the nearest Amazonian tribes for the Inca empire.

The English completely subjugate Scotland after a few more battles. Ireland is what seems to be next in the English sights.

The North American Colonies continue to expand for everyone by 5 px.

The Portuguese, after years of deliberation, finally attack a newly unified Maya and completely obliterate most of them leaving only moderately sized enclaves of the Maya left. A Maya city on the Pacific Coast continues to survive, however.

The Aztec empire continues to consolidate and rebuild itself and reform after smallpox decimated them and their neighbors.

The Inca population, while thinned out, still holds control over vast swaths of territory. Due to the lack of a competing power, the Inca have little to no trouble ruling over their empire's expanding territories. The distances, however, do begin to take their toll with some of population refusing to secure new areas for the first time.

Ming Dynasty: The navy continues to be improved. More ships are built and new harbours are built. Aid and clean up continues for the colony of Taiwan. The 青娥 (Qing'e) colony expands by 4 px. The Mai colony also expands by 4 px. A few navigation ships manages to discover the Inca, and soon asks for a limited trade agreement with them.

• Ryukyu Kingdom: The Ryukyu Kingdom continues to improve their navy.
• Inca Dip: We ask the new peoples if they have any knowledge of this fire powder the white men use - and if you do, is it available for trade?
• Ming China Diplomacy: The traders do have knowledge about the gunpowder, and it's available for trade as well.

Inca Empire: The Empire continues to expand and accepts a limited trade agreement with the Chinese beginning to trade with them by accepting their agreement. Fire powder is an extreme focus of the trade as are the potential of firearms. The Inca empire highly ceases its expansion in order to rebuild its population which has now reached about 14.5 million. The Empire continues to expand economically with the trade with the Aztecs, and Neapolitans continuing to help the economy. The Emperor continually works on new technology capturing a few white men that were unaffiliated and attempting to wreak havoc on the only major east coast port. Their ship, weapons and men are all confiscated and taken back to the Southern Inca Capital for questioning. The Inca help expand their colony but it's only for agricultural purposes to help support the small population (expansion by 3 px. I'm not investing too much while I rebuild).

• Ico: Undeterred by the scourge which stagnated population growth in the previous year and a half, Ico reclaims its population of one million and begins expanding north once again. However, many fear the scourge will return
• Amazonia: We continue to expand and incorporate other local tribes. The nearest Amazonian tribe is continually vassalized. We begin a large scale program of agriculturalization to allow for expanded population growth.

Naples: the military and navy are built up. Morocco's campaign into Tunisia alerts many of the Neapolitan leaders in the zone prompting a movement from the forces of the Hafsids armies and the Neapolitan fleet and local army, the forces from Calabria and Reggio move to Cape Bon to meet up with the forces of the Tunisians and soon will do the same the forces of the Roman League.

• Roman empire: The military and navy are built up. The Empire begins the reconstruction as the cities have been destroyed by the war, the troops on the east assure the borders with the Ottomans beginning a group of border cities, Constantinople is once again a Christian fortress city, but now knowing of the Success the Ottomans had the city begins a new defense system, the creation of several wall sets (three) to better protect the city and the creation of a nearby field to grow the food to feed the population in case of a long term siege.
• Croatia: Military and navy are built up.
• Tunisia: The fear is proven truly the Morocco sultanate are invading. However, this proves a good test for the sultan of the Alliance he forged with Giovanni of Naples, while this the expansion is halted and the forces gather in the coast and the border with Granada in Africa.
• Genoa: The navy and military are built up. While this, Nova Genoa expands by 5 px
• Savoy: the navy and military are built up. Continues fighting the HRE of savoy.

The Incas face the unexpected, several of the tribes in their new conquest territories revolt, forming two new tribal confederations hostile in its most majority to the Inca's, the ones referred by the Neapolitans as Caucas revolted against the still tribalist Inca empire, after a local king embraced Christendom and took the name of Paulus I and the ones in the south called by the few Europeans as the Argentinians, due the characteristic of their region.

The HRE drops its conflict against Savoy, as Austria and Venice are defeated in the Battle of Dyrachium in which forces of the HRE faced the armies of the Roman and Neapolitan empires in order to make a path for the army to cross to the Mediterranean.

Brandenburg in order to gain some land and power over the Prussians, launches an invasion of The Ordenstaat, in order to establish a mainly German state in the region.

Morocco faces revolts in the Sahara's coast due to the campaign into Tunisia. While this, Granada Sends an ultimatum, saying that Morocco should withdraw their forces from Algeria, or War will occur.

Poland continues successfully aiding the Romanians and conquering Crimea without much Ottoman opposition.

• Duchy of Ordensstaat: The Wschodni Renesans continues to become popular in the Duchy, its use extending greatly to churches continuing the Eastern Catholic church art. The renovation of the church in the courtyard continues and nears completion. We engage the Brandenburg soldiers near the coast in an attempt to end their invasion from its onset.

Naples: the military and navy is built up The expansion of the colonies continue at the same rate, and the Morocco expansion continues as threat, yet not as the primary one.

• Roman empire: The military and navy are built up. The Empire begins the reconstruction as the cities have been destroyed by the war, the troops on the east assure the borders with the Ottomans beginning a group of border cities, Constantinople is once again a Christian fortress city, but now knowing of the Success the Ottomans had the city begins a new defense system, the creation of several wall sets (three) to better protect the city and the creation of a nearby field to grow the food to feed the population in case of a long term siege.

Brandenburg continues the war with Poland, yet it stands a stalemate for the Germans.

The revolts continue in the Sahara for the Morocco empire due to the culture of the Saharan tribes being different from the ones of Morocco.

The Incas continue unable to unify their lands.

• Brandenburg's failure to capture Königsberg yields a defeat for them, Poland armies crush the German forces forcing them to retreat.
• The Saharan Sultanate defeats morocco's forces in the coast with some Portuguese ships (Sold to them by the Portuguese to weaken the Sultanate.
• The Inca's continue fighting the small kingdoms yet many Incan nobles begin leading the idea of bringing them into their sphere of influence or give them full independence.

Ming Dynasty: The army continues to be built up. More ships are built and new harbours are built. China expands northward by 5px. Aid and clean up continues for the colony of Taiwan. The 青娥 (Qing'e) colony expands by 4 px. The Mai colony also expands by 4 px.

• Ryukyu Kingdom: The Ryukyu Kingdom continues to improve their navy.

Inca empire: The Inca empire officially pulls all support from the territory that had rebelled allowing its total collapse without any Inca supplies to take and with the Inca burning farms and destroying things as they go. The First Use of the Inca horse corps allows for this to be expedited. The Inca also make their first limited use of Gunpowder in the Retreat but for the most part use Iron, Bronze, and the occasional acquired Steel weapons. many Settlements are just completely burned and only people willing to accept Inca rule in settled territory are allowed back into. The Inca expand 14px to the south and begin to use their military force rather than Settlers to secure territory.
