Offcial Flag of Cape Empire adopted in 1919 after Treaty of Versailles.
Simple tri-color symbolizing the three groups of South Africa: Orange for Dutch, Black for Africans, Blue for British. White for peace amongst them, and tan Springbok for natural resources.
Same concept as the previous flag yet with alternate order of colours, with white representing the British and Blue representing the rivers and lakes of the nation.
