The Second Treaty of Delhi was created to end the Second Indian War which began on 1510, and ended on 1513. 

Terms[]

  • The Marwarian-Mughal Union shall be dissolved.
  • A member of the Rajput Clan (To be determined), shall be placed in charge of the remaining lands of the Mughal Empire and will rename the lands to whatever he desires.
  • The nations of Sind, Multan, Kangra (As per Sky's suggestion) and Ladakh shall be released by the Mughal Empire, and will be led by leaders with no dynastic ties to the any Marwarian, or Mughali royal dynasties, past or present.
    • If no leader described as such can be found, or if the leading dynasty found is too unpopular with the people, then the nation shall be lead by a body of noble families.
  • Land will be granted to the border Indian states that aided in the Second Indian War. Other states not gaining land will receive excessive compenstation from captured gold, silver, trade goods, livestock, foodstores, and other spoils.
  • Coastland of the former Mughal Empire shall be divided and given to Sind, Kathiawar, and Bengal.
  • Marwar will be led by a rival dynasty, or a body of noble families, dependent on the understanding of the preference of the people.
  • The South Chatagai shall be ruled by the body of nobles, with no dynastic or friendly ties to the Mughal Empire or Rayja of Marwar, and will be declared independent and their own nation.
  • The Raja of Jaisalmer shall be declared independent once more, and their current ruler shall remain in power.
  • By agreeing to this document, the current leaders of the Mughal Empire and Rayja of Marwar will abdicate their thrones within the year (By 1514).
    • All Mughali and Marwarian officials with positions appointed by the Rao of Marwar, or Mughal Emperor shall be removed from their post, except in the case of Marwar, where if it can be proven that they are both a part of a part of the body of noble families that will rule the land, and their positions are able to be proven as extremely integral to the running of the nation, then they will be allowed to keep their position.
  • Until the forced abdication of their thrones, the Indian League will run the nations, and the current leaders will have no ability to pass, create, or draft any laws.
    • Should a losing party choose to not to sign this document, they will be immediately ousted.
