This is a technological alternative history. In this althist, Ken Kuturagi convinces Norio Ohga to agree on the 80:20 split between Nintendo and Sony over the SNES' CD port. When the SNES is released in North America with a CD Port, it dominates the console market. This in turn leads to a partnership between Sony and Nintendo in the video game industry.
