In our timeline, the Ottoman Empire became unstable and weak in the early 1900's, everyone knew that it would soon dissolve; it did. The ending of World War 1 destroyed the Ottoman Empire and today a weak Turkey stands with no glory of its past. But what if the first President of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was able to preserve the Ottoman Empire and turn it into a strong republic?
