The Game

2005.75

The 2005 Kashmir earthquake kills about 80,000 people in the northern areas of the Mughal Empire.

Members of the Central Alliance and the Celtiberian Community begin considering the formation of the European Community, an international organization dedicated to solving European-related matters. If the organization is formed, the Central Alliance and the Celtiberian Community will continue as sub alliances.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo defeats the Central African Republic at the Battle of Bangui. After a relatively short campaign, the nation of the Central African Republic surrenders to the forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The NATO-led initiative in West Africa proves to be a success, capturing large quantities of biological weapons and other smuggled goods. Further evidence begins to point toward Iranian involvement, after more Iranian soldiers and supplies are discovered. The Nations of NATO begin considering attack in the Middle East to stop the biological production at its source.

Following the Treaty of Valencia, the rogue Swiss governments are returned to Switzerland. Swiss Nationalists call for an example to be made out of the individuals; that these uprisings will not be tolerated. After a long trial involving dozens of individuals, several high ranking members are imprisoned.

The Rezurrectionist Republic is decisively defeated by Texas and the NAL. The Rezurrectionists are removed from power, with their leaders imprisoned. The NAL occupies the territory of the former Republic.

Japan: Japan continues to build up the Self Defence Forces and infrastructure is improved. Some of the Maritime Self Defence Force still continues to patrol around Japan. Synthpop, Electro, Techno, and Trance continue to rise in popularity. The Republic of Kyushu continues to rebuild the island. Tatsunori Katsumata and ZUN finishes creating Shoot the Bullet. Shoot the Bullet is released and gets excellent sales. Chihei Hatakeyama's radio show/station, "A State of Trance" rises in popularity. The Self Defence Forces remain on high alert throughout Japan and the Republic of Kyushu. And clean up continues for those affected by the earthquake and the train incident.

Ethiopia: Due to fears of Galaid's soldiers threatening Ethiopia's stability people on the outer parts of Ethiopia have started to set up small watches/militias and have begun reporting to local military units across Ethiopia. 7000 soldiers have been recruited and are beginning to train and are expected to head to the Bakool region in Somalia to begin staging offensives against Galaid's forces. We increase our army by 0.25. We begin modernizing the roads to help with transportation across Ethiopia. We are awaiting for a response from any nation who is willing to help clear Somalia of Galaid's forces. We ask the Union of the Afrikaans and any other African nations to form an alliance of just African nations.

• An African Prosperity Sphere? The Union is up for it. Some 10,000 troops are also sent to help the Ethiopians.
• Ethiopian Diplomacy: We thank the Union for its support and are more than willing to return the favor when necessary, an African Prosperity Sphere should be talked about amongst the other African nations willing to join to maintain peace in Africa.

Iran: We attempt to continue with our buildup and decide to continue construction of our nuclear reactors and decide to build some research facilities to accelerate our technological needs. We also decide to build some cruise missile silos and design the Shiatia-class submarine. Secret: We continue our nuclear weapons research and our new z virus strain research. We also send troops to Russia to steal nuclear weapons secrets dating as back as the Cold War. We start to build the Jihad-class ICBM to store our future nuclear weapons and bioweapons as well as the Tehran-class SLBM and the the Al-Quisam-class ALBM. We also design the Allah-class SRBM and the Behbahan-class IRBM.

• AFR Diplomacy: The AFR government protests the buildup and attempt at weaponizing the Zombie virus. We again blockade Iran.

What did I say last turn, you do not have the capability of producing nukes yet. In OTL Iran hasn't even built their first nuke and they have been researching nuclear weapons for decades. Plus you don't have Russia supporting your nuclear program like in OTL, so your research is a lot slower.

Also the thing about the submarine, it takes years to develop a ballistic missile submarine not three months.

UK/New Commonwealth: The UK continually uses its business and influence as leader of the new commonwealth to heavily develop its infrastructure and continued development of high tech industry. The Navy is continually developed with the ships being drilled heavily for Quality over Quantity. The UK offers to join the European Community and host the headquarters of the EC. We also propose unilateral economic co-operation and trade between all EC members to allow for a more unified europe independant in its ambitions and advancement. The UK begins to investigate Iran in its possible connections to terrorism. The military forces in the UK proper begin massive drills to ensure combat readiness. With hundreds of thousands being deployed with due Naval Force To Iran The UK pledges complete Support to Russia and offers Supplies and its own military to be used in joint operations with Russia. All nations of the commonwealth (UK, Canada and Oceania) declare neutrality over the South African conflicts.

Mongolia: We have recruited 1000 more troops and are training all our troops with Anti Tank Tactics Army Upgraded by 0.25. We are still waiting for a response from China on our for Trade Rights and an Alliance. We now ask Korea for Trade Rights and an Alliance. We are building a weather satellite and it should be ready in 18 months.

Neo-Mughal Empire: The Emperor declares the nation to be in a state of emergency. Military units not deployed in Baluchistan or that are montoring the border are sent to the northern part of the country to aid those affected by the earthquake. Helicopters full of supplies are sent to resupply villages cut off from the outside community. Military operations in Baluchistan are mostly successful. The military advisors from Chan Santa Cruz have been very helpful and have reduced casualties from landmines and IEDs by a substantial amount through training. More military vehicles are built. Both of these actions raise the army score by 0.25. Influence and aid are sent to the Sikh Empire, Sri Lanka, and the Kazakh Khanate. We ask that NATO notify us if they plan any actions in the Middle East or Iran.

Maldives: Some of the Coast Guard are sent to the Mughal Empire to aid in the recovery. Supplies are also sent.

Russia: We support the creation of the European Community or the possibility of the European Union to ensure peace within the continent. More Doblestnyj-Class UCVs are constructed as well as more PAK FAs and T-95s. OilMost Sovremenny, Udaloy, Slava, and Kara-class combat vessels have been called out of storage due to their unnecessary service in the Russian Navy. Large scrapping processes start to disarm these ships to leave only 40 Sovremenny-Class destroyers, 30 Udaloy-Class destroyers, 20 Slava-Class cruisers, and 18 Kara-Class cruisers. The same is also happening with most submarines that are in storage, the Admiralty Board has decided to only keep 30 Alfa-Class submarines, 25 Akula-Class submarines, 20 Sierra-Class submarines, 15 Typhoon-Class submarines, 25 Oscar-Class submarines, 80 Red October-Class submarines, and 86 Lada-Class submarines. The Kilo-Class will be decommissioned from the Russian Navy due to its long time of service. A long term future scrapping process has started to scrap ships that have been decommissioned with the Russian Navy, which shall be completed in about nine months. We have also decided to remove the Moskva-Class from the Russian Navy and immediately scrap both of the ships in its class. Ship designers at Murmansk and St. Petersburg have been asked to make propose a new design to replace the Moskva. Old designs that were never adopted are also allowed to be introduced into the Russian Navy. Iranian troops were spotted entering the border from the Southern Caucasus; they were immediately slaughtered in short term battles with the 58th Army stationed there, within days all Iranian soldiers have surrendered to the 58th Army. Many troops begin to spill information to the GRU and the FSB about stealing nuclear weapon designs that dated back from the Cold War. We have decided to join in on the sanctions against Iran and station about 75 BM-30 Smerches, 200 BM-28 Uragons, and 400 BM-21 Grads across the Russo-Iranian border, as well as over 300,000 troops. The Caspian Flotilla has also started to setup on an aggressive stance against Iran. Tu-95 long range bombers are also on stand-by to start the initial attack on Iran if needed. Anti-aircraft has also been setup in the Caucasus and on the Russo-Iranian border to defend the populace against incoming cruise missiles. After days of discussion at the State Duma, war was soon declared against Iran for espionage and an invasion against our state (Casus Bell: Unjustly Attacked -5; Objective: Add to Sphere +2; No Stability Loss). About 100,000 troops are sent into to capture the Iranian provinces of East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Kurdistan, Zanjan, Gilan, and Kermanshah by moving through the Caucasus and also by paradropping. (Battle of North West Iran). While this is occurring, about 200,000 troops are commencing an amphibious assault on the northern provinces of Mazandaran, Golestan, Semnan, South Khorasan, North Khorasan, Alborz, and the capital of Tehran. (Battle of Northern Iran). About 250,000 troops have also started conducting the invasion of southern Iran by the Persian Guld to capture the provinces of Bushehr, Fars, Hormozgan, Khuzestan, Kerman, Yazd, Loristan, Ilam, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Sistan and Baluchestan, and Chahar Mahaal and Bakhtiari. (Battle of Southern Iran). Meanwhile, another invasion force of about 50,000 will capture the provinces of Qom, Markazi, Hamadan, and Isfahan. (Battle of Central Iran). Naval support will be available from the Caspian Flotilla, the Black Sea Fleet, and the Fleet stationed at the Persian Gulf. This operation will ensure the capture of Iran. Rocket artillery firing from the Russo-Iranian border at the Southern Caucasus has destroyed many Iranian missile silos as well as destroying munition factories, military bases and other military installations. We request the aid from NATO and other nearby nations to help occupy Iran and replace the government. After the capture of Iran (Algos have been made) we have decided to make a treaty to end this war.

• Korean Diplomacy: We send one million troops to invade Iran, send supplies, and provide naval support.
• Mughal Diplomacy: We will aid in the invasion if the pre-revolution government is restored to power.
• FA Secret Diplomacy: We will aid the invasion against the new and corrupt government of Iran as it is no longer a member state of the EHU. Its black market activities with the Z-Virus and Nuclear Weapons research have been grounds for removal. We do ask, however, that everything be done in the Russian power to restore the older government of Iran and rebuild Iran back to its pre-war state, allowing EHU nations to aid in this endeavor. We also request that Irani territories gained from the Second Middle East War be either returned to Turkey, or given to Iraq.
• Russian Diplomacy: We have already captured Iran but you can aid in the occupation.
• The Union states a CSTO force will be deployed to assist member nation Russia.
• AFR Diplomacy: The government continues to prevent shipments to and from Iran. fOUR F-12 jets launch air strikes against Iranian armored units.
• Russian Diplomacy: We already took Iran. there is no need for this.
• GVR: We again ask Russia if they have a spare Soviet Petlyakov Pe-8, We are willing to pay 50,000 for it. we are not willing to go any higher since they are out of use in your country
• Russian Diplomacy: Agreed.

South Africa: Over the Netherlands, propaganda posters are dropped over the whole nation telling its people to overthrow their government and come back to the ways of old. Hundreds of thousands of propaganda leaflets are dropped all over the nation by aircraft being protected by Afrikaan fighters to make sure they are not shot down. The five million strong army performs well as the nation goes to war with the warlords all around it. Camerooni Warlords is smashed to pieces by the Afrikaans who quickly capture the warlord in power (algos completed). The do or die mentality continues to make people work as hard as they can - trying to help their nation win against barbarians who would sent us all back to being Zombies and destroy all of the Union's precious achievements in equality, science, medicine and technology. In Gabon, the well build infrastructure is used to transport troops to the front line of the action about to take place. The frontline from Gabon extends rapidly as the warlords in Cameroon are no match for the military forces of the Union. The new pilots help fill up the new fighter jets produced very quickly. Due to their limited scope of fighting - they manage to handle their aircraft very well. The navy is amped up by 0.25. In Hindustan, the Hindustani Army continues to help rebuild the areas which are crucial for bringing more troops, jobs and aid in. With the large amounts of money coming in and the large number of soldiers - the infrastructure is built up at nearly three times the normal speed due to experienced and strong soldiers helping in the building. A large part of the South is already connected up with Hindustan, allowing for easier transportation of materials. The food arriving helps feed the people. In the vassals of South Africa, the situation remains the same. East Africa takes control of the areas formerly belonging to Tanzania (I think). It continues to expand upward as Union troops fight on to establish order. In the farms of the nation, those who were not in the military work hard to provide for the nation. In the factories, workers work their hardest. Thousands of tanks are produced very quickly and efficiently while advanced fighters are produced at astounding rates as money from the selling of tanks helps make sure the workers are paid. These weapons have helped destroy countless enemy positions and have helped to completely outpower the warlords being fought against. The NHS is given more funding to treat the amounts of workers who are predicted to be injured. In other matters, Space research has made crucial breakthroughs, while Star Trek continues to help distract the nation from the dire circumstances.

• United States Diplomacy: We demand that you withdraw from Angola, a nation allied with NATO, or we will declare war.
• AFR Diplomacy: The AFR ambassador to South Africa files a formal complaint for the invasion of Angola.

AFR Diplomacy: We do not believe that South Africa shot down the airplane, we request to be allowed to deploy special forces to destroy the insurgents that were responsible for the attack. The missile type was not a South African missile from civilian reports.

Oceania: We continue work in Africa. Development, research and work continue. Philippines: We continue to spread influence to Palua and ask them to join us again. We work on improving stability.

Appalachian Federal Republic: The government protests South Africa occupying Angola. The presidential elections are held late due to the Zombie infestation. Rick Santorum wins with 56% of votes.

A jet owned by Erie Air Services is shot down by a SAM missile over South Africa as it is flying to a resort in Oceania. The AFR immediately cancels all planned flights over the nation of South Africa, and the AFR Air Force scrambles three F-12 jets to escort all remaining AFR civilian jets to safety.

The government finds traces of material that indicate it was a terrorist group. The president officially denies rumors that the South Africans shot down the aircraft.

Burma: With the tension at the border gone we can now return all focus to our research. GVR: The fighter blue prints are finished on the new fighter to replace our old one. We took much inspiration from the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft and it looks much like it, but instead of of having primarily missile on board we took some of them off and added mini guns on it. We still are asking Russia for a Petlyakov Pe-8, We are willing to pay 50,000 dollars for it since it is out of commission. What people are calling the biggest city in the world is now over 60% done and with construction coming close to the end our government starts to advertise it to the world as "the city to hold all other cites". We are hoping it will attract some vacationers. We move our fleet to surround the island. One of our new Eurofighter Typhoon class is in the process of being made and test flight should be held withing the next three months. The first spacecraft and rocket is finsihed and the first Chinese spaceflight is completed where it continued in the Earth's magnetic field for two hours before coming down. The ninth satellite is sent into space, which served a special purpose - sending Internet signals to Chongqing, Chengdu and surrounding areas. We give Korea some of our satellite and spacecraft plans due to our space co-operation. We unify with the inner provinces of Chongqing, Shizhuang, Gangshu, Ningxia and Qinghai. We begin planning to build a large dam over the Yangtze river. We continue constructing a huge city in Shizhuang to promote people moving in. One million soldiers are trained as the nation continues enlisting 500,000 able-bodied man. We build five Black Hawk-10's. We ask Mongolia and Manchuria if they would want to merge with RoC. We begin using our large population to produce cheap industrial goods and exporting them.

Federation of Arabia: The Nuclear Power plant in the ad-Dahna desert continues to provide power to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, as well as numerous small cities. Google now owns Maktoob, leading to a greater increase in internet strength and speed, and more people begin to use Makoob Google in the Middle East, helping Google's stock rise. Gold continues to be mined in the Cradle of Gold for use as "Currency Bonds" to keep up with increasing popularity. Oman's agriculture yield continues to grow, slowly but strongly. A poll is conducted across the Federation that entails citizens' opinions on becoming part of the New Commonwealth and it shows that 35% are in favor of it, 65% are against it, and everyone now has an opinion. Second nuclear power plant continues to power the city of Dubai and surrounding areas, allowing more fossil fuels to go to exportation rather than being used for power. Research of a sniper rifle based on the Bullpup design as seen in the ARA-21 continues as many different designs are considered to move farther along with the project. Another PAK FA is built from the Russian Co-Production license and brings the total to six PAK FA's, and plans to end their construction when we create five are created. Influence continues on Egypt, Syria and Somalia, with small-scale, non-governmental propaganda being distributed within those nations that encourages unification of Arabian states through the Federation of Arabia. We request that Syria and Egypt join the Federation because how greatly it would effect their economies, strengthen their militaries against terror and biological terror threats and lead to greater co-operation between Arabic nations.

United Republics: We continue to work on the Mars Orbital Station project. We complete preparation of rockets and loads for the launch, we launch the third and fourth set of rockets. The second set of rockets arrive, and the slow robotic construction continues, pondering sending a manned crew to speed things up. We ask South Africa how they intend to help URSA Space Station continues construction of another telescope. UR continues to study the sea floor, discovering many new creatures and continues research on chemosynthesis. Shark research continues. UR continues to upgrade its army and train more reserves as it begins its fight against terror.The former attacks in Brazil are continued to be investigated. Unmanned rovers, mainly used for exploration and going around blind corners, in simulation they have proven to be an invaluable resource saving many lives, have taken training and implemented fully. UR continues influence over Bolivia and Suriname, and further influence over El Salvador, Honduras, and the South Caribbean. Things in Cuba are going well, and troops begin to be stationed throughout Florida Sur and Cuba. Some in Cuba mention becoming a UR Associate state, and a small rise continues in that line of thinking begins. Venezuela is in  its final  steps to nationhood, as many see the claim over Esquibo over for now. UR continues to implelment better energy efficient appliances and delivery. Hybrid Cars come over from the UM. High Speed Rail continues to be constructed up both coasts, reaching Cayene and Caracas. The Vatican sends more missionaries to Cuba and Central America, and mourns the death of the Pope. UR military and navy begins research on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, mainly to use as portable radar. The Three Indian Republics rebuild the coastline and receive aid from the UR. The UR sends more aid to Madrid and the victims of the Tsunami, and earthquakes. Assistance against terrorism is sent out.

Iberia: Continues to strengthen ties to the UR through trade. Hybrid cars arrive from the UM. Focus continues on education. Strategic defenses continue to be built throughout and along the seas. Iberia continues to bond as a nation as they continue their presence in the world. Talks of strengthening the Celtiberian Community begin, as a possible Southern France united front continues. Aid is sent to Macau, Hong Kong, Luanda, and other overseas cities of Iberia along with increased trade, as well as the regions affected by the tsunami. Education reforms continue, and secondary education begins to show better test results. Pitbull and Enrique show even more increase sales in Iberia. The new Madrid attacks are being investigated,, assistance against terrorism is sent out. However, Madrid is under massive watch. UAV's from the UR are purchased to watch the countryside. Borders are upgraded in order to defend from terrorism. Guards are sent ot Luanda in case of aggression.

United Mediterr.: Hybrid car wars continue as they begin to lessen the cost as specialized manufacturing lines are completed. Focus on tourism continues. Soccer attendance continues to rise as more people become dedicated fans as now they have cheered for the teams all their lives. Ligura is implemented as a state and focus is on rebuilding that region. Appenine Agreement with Italy continues to assist both countries in becoming prosperous through trade. Green technology continues to be a focus and continues development. Trade increases with the UR, mainly for energy. Ships continue to be repaired and built to be sold to allied nations. Upgrades industry by 0.25.

Sul: Continues to develop defenses and assist in building the high speed rail. Soccer continues to rise and Pitbull and Enrique make a large rise in the nation. Sul continues to strengthen ties to the UR as they increase trade, specifically of green energy (mainly to Brazil). Sul assists in research on the UAV. Aid is sent to Brazil, Madrid and the Indian Ocean. Upgrades industry by 0.25.

Nicaragua: Mass trade now goes through both Panama and Nicaragua.

Aquitaine: Strengthens ties to the Celtiberian Community through trade. Aid is still sent to Switzerland, although following the beginning of a governmental change, the Swiss people are reminded who restored their nation to prosperity. Medium talks of the French portion of Switzerland leaving are stirred up because of this. Small Southern France United Party continues in Toulouse. Encourages Geneva to join Arles.

Senegal: Continues to develop defenses in case of WAR or terror attacks. Europeanization and ties to UM, UR, and Iberia grow stronger. Declares neutrality in current African Affairs. 

United States: Ten Arleigh Burke-class destroyers and twelve Seawolf-class submarines have been constructed and stationed. Coastal and military base defenses are fortified to fight besieging naval vessels, utilizing the newest in long-range artillery technology. War is declared between South Africa and the United States, NATO, and NATO-affiliated states. Air defenses are put on high alert across the Netherlands and Europe to ensure that no South African planes get through. We ask for China, Russia, and all allies to mobilize forces for attack. David Petraeus is designated as commander of the NATO forces. Our reserves are mobilized, and soldiers are moved to Africa over the next few months. Our forces are moved to surrounded the South African territory of Gabon, alongside the forces of central Africa. We move the United States Atlantic Fleet toward Africa to monitor South African movements. 700,000 Dutch, American and Channel League personnel are stationed in the Lowlands.

Germany: As a member of NATO and personal ally of the Netherlands and the United States, we declare war against South Africa. Our reserves are mobilized. All anti-air guns in Europe are put on alert in case the South Africans breach the North African line. Soldiers are gradually moved to the Congo, while another one million are stationed in Germany. We ask for the Celtiberian Community’s help, and in return we will agree to form the European Community. All members of the Central Alliance are asked to contribute to the war effort in some way. Continues upgrading army and navy capabilities. Three more Habsburg-class aircraft carriers continue to be built. Fifteen more Tirpitz-class destroyers are also built. Shipyards from earlier times are reopened and upgraded to fit modern ships. We continue to influence Malta, Croatia and the new Swiss regime. (Tr0llis told me to post this for him).

Congo: Following South Africa’s war of aggression against Angola and NATO, we declare war and mobilize our armed forces. The combined strength of our nation and local allies reaches 350,000, and may continue to grow as more people enlist. We position this army in northern Angola, and along the southern border. Two Amphibious assault ships are deployed to South Africa to support NATO. The ships are there to provide a place to refuel, rearm, and repair the jets and helicopters.

The MES Sniper Rifle

In the east our forces meet similar resistance at Lucapa, surrounded by forces from central Angola and ZImbabwe. Ultimately our forces break through, although we suffer a good amount of casualties, and the South Africans manage to buy some time. Following the successful first phase of the campaign, our forces establish Luanda as a regional headquarters. There is a parade down the streets of the capital city, as the Angolan people are overjoyed to re-establish their democratic government in the city, which the United States will ensure. With pressure mounting on Lubumbashi, regional headquarters for the defense of the Congolese border, we withdraw one million allied soldiers to the city to protect against assaults from Zimbabwe. American and NATO forces successfully enter South African occupied Angola. After a three month long campaign and siege, the city of Luanda is secured, as well the northern section of the country.

Russia: Due to Russia’s vassalization of Iran, we introduce them into the African Theater. The Iranian Defense Force has committed about 5,000 troops to the front lines to aid the NATO coalition. As the South African is hurt by continuous submarine attacks, our surface fleets from the Pacific and the Atlantic start to close in on the remaining surface vessels of the South African Navy, at least four Kirov-Class battle cruisers along with dozens of destroyers, cruisers and the new UCVs were able to launch devastating attacks against OPFOR task elements and other patrolling forces. We were able to withstand moderate losses with several destroyers and cruisers crippled or sunk, but were easily replaced the industry as new ships are being constructed. Through the EHU, we send 250,000 soldiers into an invasion against North Sudan and against the local warlord so as to help Somalia return to its former glory, possibly under the FA (Algo to come). Due to the recent car bombings and other assorted terrorists attacks, police presence and checkpoints on roads becomes more common in the Federation so as to prevent more attacks. Currently, a bill known as Stop and Frisk is currently being debated as being passed throughout the whole Federation, which would allow police forces to stop anyone who looks suspicious without having to have a warrant. A series of reforms are passed in both Saudi Arabia and Jordan, which have allowed more women into the workforce in actual meaningful jobs. The reforms are designed to allow them into work, and stop discrimination from their hiring, leading our Industry score to increase by 0.25 from the increase of the workforce. Saudi Arabia now allows women to vote in federal elections, but does not allow them yet to vote in national elections. Talks also begin in the Federation for turning the Federation into an Islamic Republic which would allow Islam to unite under one banner, as one people.

However, is opposed to vassalization and requests that France and Belgium be given full independence. (I withdraw my claim from last turn on joining the DC) Qantas, a private entity has asked many nations to allow for them to expand their airline. Hindustani Union: We continue expanding our military to help combat small pockets of infection and crime in our nation, upgrading our army score by 0.25. Our new capital city of Kolkata is fortified and rebuilt, hoping to create a modern capital city. Ruined areas of the city are demolished and replaced with better housing. The Netherlands: Begins to have a idea of commercial space travel with KLM and Airbus partnering to make this happen. We ask that Congo , Guyana, Cayenne join the Dutch Commonwealth. We again ask to join the Central Alliance, Germany. We continue to convince people in the South African army of Dutch origin to rebel. So far we have been able to start a rebellion in the Traversal, which has many Dutch immigrants. We grant France vassalization as a member of the Dutch Commonweath. It will be a Vice Royalty with the Bonapartes as the head. It will have its own parliament and the Dutch king will be the King.

The Ethiopian military has come up with tank designs to be better suited for fighting in eastern Africa, although we continue to design we hope to begin production soon. Philippines: We continue to improve our general society and amount of slum area in our nation. We are focusing on making a lot of money from mining and farming. Production increases by 0.25.

RoC: Our industries in China are rekindled, as Taiwan proved to be a useful addition to the Republic with its modern industry. 100 agents go from China to Taiwan, where they learn Taiwanese industrial production methods and reconstruct them in China, where it begins improving the industrial production. Republic of California: Continues to suppress Communist organizations. In February the military raided Crescent City, the stronghold of the Communist insurgents. Korea: Education and healthcare reforms continues as well as the Green program and industrialization. Because of this industry score is upgraded by 0.25. Solar panels are used across major cities such as Seoul and Pyongyang. Construction of the Seoul-Vladivostock railroad resumes. Aid is continued to be supplied to all war-torn nations and we leave CSTO. We accept China's satellites and launch them into space.

United States: A documentary film called An Inconvenient Truth is released, which illuminates the dangers of uncontrolled pollution into the future. The film has a largely positive impact on the population, which has seen the effects of an apocalypse on the nation, and demands the introduction of more alternative fuels. The agricultural reforms for the Federation continue to be successful, further stabilizing crop prices and reducing importation and reliance on foreign agriculture. Oman's agriculture yield continues to grow, slowly but strongly.  Influence continues on Egypt, the Somalian government. Influence continues on Sudan. We begin to patrol Somaliland, searching for the warlord while our soldiers also try to keep the peace in the region. The Stop and Frisk law is passed by the Federal government, but they decide to allow it to be adopted on a nation by nation basis, leading to Iraq, Jordan, the UIC, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE to adopt the law while the other nations have not as of yet. Saudi Arabia now allows women to vote in federal elections, but does not allow them yet to vote in national elections. Talks also begin in the Federation for turning the Federation into an Islamic Republic which would allow Islam to unite under one banner, as one people. So far, the idea is to turn each individual nation in the Confederal union into a state, and basically following a setup similar to the United States Republican Democracy system, with some tenets of Islam mixed into the system.

The nations of Guyana and Sri Lanka accept the offer to join the Dutch Commonwealth. The alliance is officially formed, with the Netherlands as head of the group, and its headquarters in the city of Amsterdam.

As a former Dutch colony they have accepted an alliance with the Netherlands. Any influence you have with them still remains.

A terror attack occurs in State College. It is unknown who performed the attack due to the attackers using South African, Iranian and Russian/Soviet weapons.

Sequence of Events Leading to the Attack:

• January 1st : An airliner from the Germany lands in Williamsport. On the flight inventory there is a man named Jerry Winear.
• January 3rd: He purchases an old warehouse outside of Erie, State College, and Williamsport, under the guise of a shipping firm.
• January 11th: A tractor trailer from California enters the RoP from the US state of Ohio. It has a cargo manifest of clothing, wheat and grapes.
• January 27th: A tanker truck carrying a rare shirt of oil to the RoP.
• February 2nd: A small private jet from the Federation of Arabia enters carrying eight men who are claiming to want to go to the University of Pennsylvania.
• February 8th: Several flatbeds enter the RoP carrying ten pickup trucks, and four sedans.
• February 11th: A small convoy of box trucks enter the RoP carrying clothing.
• (Note: All entering vehicles have gone to one of the three warehouses.)
• February 12th: Several more cars enter the RoP.
• February 13th: Several small fishing boats under the cover of night an drop of packages outside of Erie.
• February 15th: The Erie Stare police arrest two men who are caught armed with an AK-47, and a SIG Sauer P226. They are arrested and charged with the illegal possession of firearms.
• February 24th: Under the cover of night, several pickup trucks have steel plates welded to the undercarriage and concrete poured into door cavities.
• February 25th to March 17th: Most of the terrorists buy ammunition or plant IED's.
• March 20th: The go-ahead order is given to the terrorists. During rush hour 12 bombs detonate simultaneously on the interstate and bridges in Erie, ten blow up in State College and hit several government buildings, and three detonate in Williamsport outside the Little League Hall of Fame, and an interstate.

• • Erie: After the bombs detonate, a group of four men attack a marketplace with two pickup trucks armed with DShK heavy machine guns. One man detonates a car bomb on the Bayfront Connector Interstate. The State Police immediately respond by deploying a SWAT unit to the market place, several K-9 units to other possible landmarks, and 12 police units, 15 ambulance units, and five fire units to the interstate bombing. Several other units are sent from surrounding towns to cover the bombings. All the men are killed.
  • State College: Once the bombs detonate, a box truck drives up to the Susquehanna Federal Prison, and several men detonate sticks of dynamite, and free over 2000 prisoners. Then another group of men attack an army base. Luckily the guards are able to alert the base, and once the men break inside, they are met by a company of Reserve troops heavily armed.
  • Williamsport: A man drives a sedan full of C4 onto an overpass, and detonates it. Meanwhile several gas lines are severed. Two men are arrested.

• Aftermath: The State Police and the Department of Homeland Security arrest a total of ten men involved, and the ringleader. It turns out they were a radical communist group attempting to overthrow the government. They are charged with crimes against humanity, and using weapons of mass destruction. The ringleader escapes to the State of Baja.

Philippines: We continue development of our trade with other nations to improve our economy. We continue to improve our farmland and slums.

Ethiopia: Occupation is still in place in Somalia as the search for Galaid continues, with the help of the 25,000 AFR soldiers that are helping in this operation, another 5000 soldiers are recruited to the EDF. We continue influence on the nation of Kenya. We further expand the roadways for better transportation across Ethiopia. A design for a Ethiopian made take has come complete under the name of the EDT-Hyena, named after the now domesticated Hyena population in Harar, a prototype is currently being built. a recent poll has been given to the citizens of Gedo and Bakool if they were interested in the idea of becoming part of Ethiopia, Gedo resulted in an exact 50/50 split, while Bakool came in with 61% approval. This would become the pretext of a coup led by a young officer named Enrique Ricafort. He severed ties with California, and declared Salton independent as the State of Baja. The Californian fleet rescued the deposed President José Guadalupe Osuna Millán and General Commissioner Bill Lockyer, but decided not to intervene, due to the fact that the nation was recovering from civil war, so it will be up for the UR, or Chan Santa Cruz to depose him.

He severed ties with the Californian Republic, formed a new government, suppressed all opposition, suspended civil liberties, imposed strict censorship, slaughtered hundreds of dissidents, landing opposition leaders to jail, and decreed the formation of a single-party state. He begins to conscript 80,000 young men to the army force national defense in case of invasion, and attempted to use diplomacy to encourage Mexifornya to unite into a single nation.

The European Union is officially created from the Central Alliance and Celtiberian Community, with Germany and Iberia as head of the organization. An application system is created to begin allowing other nations to join.

The declared Republic of Baja falls apart after only a few months of existence. The nation, which held little support from the locals, is toppled by the Californian people. All people involved in the attempt to secede are arrested. (No excessively creating civil wars in your own nation. It has recently been abused.)

The people of Indonesia begin petitioning the Australian government for independence. Now that the threat of large-scale Zombie infection is diminished, the Indonesians hope to establish a sovereign government, retaining close ties to the Commonwealth.
