Super Bowl XXVII was an American football game between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Houston Oilers and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Dallas Cowboys to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 1992 season. The Oilers defeated the Cowboys by the score of 16–14, winning their first Super Bowl in team history. The game was played on January 31, 1993 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, the seventh and most recent Super Bowl that the Greater Los Angeles Area has hosted.

Houston running back Lorenzo White was named Super Bowl MVP, rushing for 123 yards on 25 attempts, while also catching five passes for 55 yards.
