The Caliphate of Londris is claimed to exist to the present day, with the Caliph-in-exile living in the rural city of Baris in the north of the Caliphate of Firanja, waiting to return to his lands. No Caliph of Londris has ruled since they were unseated in the Continental War.
The United Kingdom of Alba and Hibernia controls the former territory of the Caliphate, and has established their own seat of government in Londris. In the ultimate desecration in 1975 the Grand Minaret of Bin-Yamin has been converted into a clock tower, and the High Mosque of Shimoon has been converted into an Orthodox cathedral, where the Kings of the United Kingdom are crowned.
In 2002 nuclear weapons were nearly launched against Londris to rout the infidel pagans, but was stopped by the pleadings of the Caliph-in-Exile.
