Kingdom of Bohemia[]

The Kingdom of Bohemia was reinstated as a constitutional monarchy on the 8th of October 1946 after the British Forces peacefully relinquished control over the area. Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, brother of King George VI of the United Kingdom was crowned as King Ottokar III of Bohemia with his wife, Alice Montagu-Scott becoming Alice, Queen Consort. This coronation happened on the 15th of February 1947 at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert. There was initially unrest among the populous of Bohemia with both communist (People's Militias of Bohemia) and republican (Nation's Defense) factions. These were quelled but resistance on the part of the People's Militias continued in the eastern parts of the country. The first Prime Minister of Bohemia was Edvard Benes of the Bohemian National Social Party.
