Union of American States[]
The Union of American States (UAS) is a constitutional presidential republic situated in America, encompassing 153 states across its vast territory. It borders the unrecognized nation of Alyeska to the west, Zacatecas and Rio Grande to the south, and shares maritime borders with Vinland, Norway, Kalaallit Nunaat, The Bahamas, Tlingitia, Thule, Wilsonsland, and Kuba. It has one of the largest land areas and population in the World. America plays a major role in geopolitics and international trade, having control over multiple major cities, military camps, and trade routes.

- The British create three separate groups for colonies: Carolina, New England, and Kanata.
- The three colonies unionize against British rule due to unfair taxing and unusual laws.
- The nation is founded in 1788 with the signing of the Declaration of Freedom.
- The Treaty of Paris grants the UAS French Louisiana.
- The proves for becoming a state is much simpler and easier.
- The Dutch discover the peninsula off of OTL California.
- Alaska is never sold by Russia.
- The arctic circle is more north, causing a greater population around the Hudson Sea.
- Dutch is more commonly used.
- Slavery is Outlawed in the Constitution, making the UAS the first to abolish it.
- The UAS stayed neutral in both Great Wars.
- Norway keep it's claims on the Sverdrup Islands.
