The Ottoman client republics (Greek: Οθωμανική πελάτη δημοκρατίες Othomanikí peláti dimokratíes) were a number of regimes created by the Ottoman Empire (with recommendation by France) after several uprisings by Ottoman Balkan states. The republics were a way to satisfy Balkan independence as well as a solution for Ottoman sovereignty in the Balkans.
