The white border can represent the [early] isolation of the governorate and their overall desire for peace. The gold field can represent governorate's territorial wealth and prosperity. The Siberian Husky can represent the overall importance of sled dogs within the governorate's history (e.g., the 1925 Serum Run to Nome). The dog points westward to represent Bering's location within Alaska and its importance within the Western Hemisphere. The overall use of black-gold-white is also meant to be in homage to the [Romanov] flag of Russia.
