The Federation of the Mauritian States or Mauritian States (Portuguese: Federação dos Estados Maurícios; Dutch: Federatie van Mauritiaanse Staten) was a republic with a semi-presidential system.
It was localizated on the South America. It was in existence from 1797 until 1992. However, the country was annexed to Brazil through a plebiscite that would leave the territories of the country for Brazil.
