A man not well known to the world changes the cause of Australia and the world.
Thomas Murdoch was a politician and businessman, who in 1924 made a motion for secession in his home state of Tasmania. This motion was passed and the Tasmanian Union was founded. In 1933 the Dominion of Westralia proclaimed its independence following Tasmania's influence.
