The Han Chinese people are an ethnic group native to east East Asia. They constitute approximately 96% of the population of China, 3.75% of the population of the Khmer Empire, 2.9% of the population of Nusantara and 1.2% of the population of the USA. They are the largest ethnic group in the world and make up 17% of the world population.
