- World War I has taken a huge toll on the world. The Allies of US, UK, France, and

Russia, have dumped more money, manpower, and resources into the war than they should have.

-Russia is currently in a civil war with the Communists (as in real life), except, the Whites conquer more territory and secede from the mainland Soviet Union. The Whites take control of northern regions of Russia. The Capital is established in Archangel.

-France and Britain's colonies begin wars for independence. The UK and France begin the long struggle to reclaim their lands.

-There is civil unrest in the US, but nothing severe happens. Although, the economy does plummet at the end of the year, starting the Great Depression earlier than before. Mass unemployment hits the US. Franklin Roosevelt in elected President. He will serve an unprecedented 21 years, as the two-term limit is not created.

-Since the Allies are too busy to place economic restrictions on the defeated Germany, the German economy gets better, making it more difficult for Hitler to rise to power. He resorts to violence, and thrusts Germany into a civil war. Roosevelt creates the New Deal, and the US economy heals a little.

-Franklin Roosevelt creates the Draft to protect the US in a world of growing tensions in Europe and begins on a series of mass production of non-military goods. Canada is slowly being retaken by the British.

- The UK retakes Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. They ask the US for limited aid to retake Canada. Specifically, with the British war machine weakened, the UK asks the US to build an advanced bomber.

-The US invents the B-17 bomber. Canada is retaken by Britain.

,1933-The UK secures its other colonies. There are some dissenters to the Crown, but they are executed. The UK (using American loans) spends a lot of money of propaganda and hearts and minds programs in Canada, and Canada becomes re-integrated into British society. However, a small anti-British sentiment slowly remains. The US economy, thanks to Roosevelt, fully recovers and the US is the most powerful nation in the world.

- The US dumps a lot of money into the UK economy, and it makes a full recovery. The US and UK then support France recover its colonies. The UK puts a lot of money into Frances economy, and France makes a recovery. The US, UK, France since their economies have healed, develop technologies earlier than they did in our timeline. They share their technology with each other.

-The US, UK, and France have fully regained their land. And immense spending on propaganda helped win the hearts and mind of the defeated. And since they had to speed up weapons development and weapons research earlier than our timeline to win their wars, they now have an arsenal of more advanced weapons. The Western Allies resume their sanctions on Germany (which is still in a civil war). Soviet spies learned the secrets of American bombers and the USSR soon develops its own technologies, which are on par with the West's.

-The USSR regains its land, but a deep anti-Soviet sentiment remains in the northern regions. Also, with increased Allied sanctions on the main German government, Hitler's Nazi rebellion gains more support and is able to conquer Germany, ending the civil war. Even though Italy is neutral, they still secretly aid Germany, bolstering its military capabilities. Stalin reforms the Soviet army, and gets it on par with the West. The Great Purge does happen. The northern regions of Russia remain under military occupation, as another rebellion may try to occur again. The USSR openly expresses desires to be allies with the West, but only due to Stalin's suspicion of Hitler. He sends spies to Germany.

-SS officers root out the Russian spies, but, they assume they are Polish, not Russian. WWII breaks out (except Japan never enters). Hitler annexs Austria, and invades Poland, Denmark, Belgium, and the Netherlands. (A Nazi-Soviet treaty is never made).

-The USSR counters this and invades Finland, and conquers it. France calls for an end to Nazi aggression. Hitler returns in kind with declaring war on France.

-Hitler begins his invasion of France. This invasion is a huge success at first, and the Nazis get within range to shell Paris. Paris is shelled. But France never surrenders and keeps fighting. The Soviets give them financial aid.

-Hitler, trying to get more resources to fight France, invades Hungary and Yugoslavia.

- Hitler begins beating France back, and France calls for help. The USSR invades Germany from the East.

-France is conquered by the Nazis. There is still heavy fighting on the Eastern Front, though. Hitler learns about the anti-Soviet sentiment in the northern regions of Russia. He sends Nazi agents there to win the hearts and minds of the people.

-The US and UK still do nothing about France. The Soviets take over Poland and Hungary from the Nazis.

-The US and UK finally enter the war and invade France (which is under Nazi control). The USSR takes Yugoslavia, and invades Romania, Serbia, and Bulgaria. The Soviets close in on the German border. The Nazi agents in North Russia succeed, and the Whites try to rebel against Soviet rule again.

- The US and UK liberate France, Belgium, Denmark, and the Netherlands. The Soviets stop their advance on Germany to deal with the rebellion. Germany counter attacks, and pushes the Russians back into Poland. The US develops the first nuclear weapon, but declines to use it. Roosevelt, urging deeper relations amongst the Allies, shares the secrets of the nuke with the UK. Due to the fact that there is still a Nazi sentiment remaining in France, and for the fact that there still might be Nazi spies in France, the US and UK decide not to give France the bomb. The USSR is not given the bomb because Roosevelt does not believe Stalin can be trusted. The US has helped the Soviets out a lot, but the Soviets have not helped the Americans yet.

-The Soviets defeat the rebellion, Stalin reveals to the world that the Nazis have caused this rebellion. A surge a patriotism hits the USSR, and many enlist to crush the Nazis. The Red Army rapidly increases, and swells up in Poland. The Soviets invade Germany for a second time, and get into Berlin, and capture it. The Red Army also liberates a Nazi Prisoner of War Camp. The camp is made up of primarily American and British prisoners. The prisoners are taken back to the USSR and cared for until they are sent back to their native countries. The US views this as a very kind act by Stalin, and deems he can be trusted. Controversally, the USSR is given the nuclear bomb. The US and UK invade Germany from the West. The war ends. Nukes are never used. Roosevelt visits Moscow to meet with Stalin, but suffers a massive stroke while in his hotel. Harry Truman is elected President.

-Germany is punished, and is divided into separate sectors, just like real life. The Danish reward America with Greenland for helping defeat Nazi Germany. The United Nations is formed. Publicly, Stalin and Truman appear as good friends. But Stalin has a secret distrust for the Capitalists, and Truman has a secret distrust for the Communists.

-Stalin secretly purges the Northern regions of the USSR to whip out the anti-Soviet sentiment. The whole population of Archangel is wiped out. Other Northern cities suffer similar fates. All Soviet production and industry is moved south of Leningrad, now the northern most Russia city. The new wasteland in the North is used for military training, and weapons testing. One of Stalin's meals is secretly poisoned by a White Nationalist. Nikita Khrushchev takes his seat n power, and says the US had a hand in Stalin's assassination.

A few years later- The "Special Agreement" between the US and the UK is created. France and the Soviet Union make a secret pact of their own to counter this. Also, France and the USSR took the brunt of World War II, and have a secret dislike for the US and UK for not helping soon enough. Cold War begins between US and the USSR. Douglas MacArthur (a general from the war) retires from the military and takes up a career in politics. He is considered a war hero and is elected as President sometime prior to 1960. He is a devout anti-Communist. He nearly threatened to nuke the USSR at one point. MacArthur also creates a law that states that Presidents can only run for two terms. He calls for UN sanctions against the Communist nations, but he is largely ignored, because in the public's eyes, the US and USSR are still relatively good allies.

-The USSR places missiles in Cuba. Kennedy becomes US president. Cuban Missile Crisis begins.

-During the Cuban Missile Crisis, John F. Kennedy decides to invade Cuba, ending in total victory for the US. Nikita Khrushchev and the USSR angrily responds by invading West Berlin. The US goes on high alert and places more nukes in West Germany. However, Khrushchev holds on to West Berlin.

- The USSR is still angry at the US for invading Cuba, and secretly plans an attack on the US. To do this, they need to divert attention elsewhere. Since they have a special agreement with France, the French welcome KGB agents into France.

-France in plunged into a Communist revolution. The US/UK just sit and watch.

-The Communists win in France, and the United Socialist French Republic (USFR) is formed. The UK refuses to

recognize this new government, leading to a hatred of the British by the French people and government. On the other hand, the US recognizes this new government.

-The UK places sanctions on the USFR, and then the French promptly declare war. As French troops move across the English Channel, the Royal Navy meets them. The English Channel then becomes a place bogged down in naval wreakage, as an intense battle between the Royal Navy and the French Navy rages. The USFR also bombs London, while the British bomb Paris. The bombings are not nuclear.

- The US places sanctions on the USFR, but the French are still able to fight the British. The US then mobilizes for war against France. They plan to open up a second front in Africa in a fight against the French colonies. The USFR realizes that with so much money and resources devoted to fighting the British, they would not stand a chance against the United States. They ask the Soviet Union for help.

- The Soviets reply by secretly supplying France with ships and troops specifically designed to attack the US. The the ships and troops are soon placed under French command. Leonid Brezhnev becomes Soviet Premier. His foreign policies warm relations with the West. However, in secret, he is still supplying France, and has a long hatred for the West, and wants to get back at the US for the loss of Cuba.

- France attempts to invade the US, Florida in particular, but it is disastrous, as the US defenses are far superior. The American Navy defeats the French one before any French troops are able to land. The CIA examines the wreckage of the French Navy, and notices that the ships are not of French origin, but they are of Russian origin. However, the US is unable to come to any conclusions of a possible alliance between France and Russia. So, Soviet/US relations are not harmed to the point of war.

- The battle between the UK and the USFR in the English Channel is still raging and becomes the modern day, naval version of the WWI trenches. The US invades French Morocco.

- The Soviets secretly supply France with a nuke. France decides not to use it, though. The US successfully conquers Morocco, and then takes Algeria. With the two main French colonies in Africa defeated, the rest of the French African colonies surrender, and become independent nations. In order to appear on the US's side, the Soviet Union declares war on France (ending the secret agreement, as the USSR was only using France as a distraction and was looking for a good reason to attack America) and deploys troops in East Germany, and those troops move on to capture the French administered area of West Germany. With the US winning in Africa, and their former allies, the Soviets, in control of a portion of West Germany, and moving in on mainland France, the USFR realizes its situation is hopeless. However, the fight with Britain is still raging, and the France hopes to end it soon. The decide to use their nuke, and London is destroyed, killing the British Prime Minister, most of the Parliament, and the Royal Family. With the mainland in turmoil, British Canada becomes free to do as it likes, and joins the US, in seek of better economic opportunity. In response to the nuking of London, the US nukes Paris, and then invades mainland France with the Soviet Union. The rest of the British colonies become independent nations.

-France officially surrenders, ending what is now called the Franco War. The USFR destroyed. The US begins an occupation of France, similar to the occupation of Germany that is also in progress. Northern France is given to the UK, Southern France is given to the US. The Soviets get to keep their new accquired portion of West Germany. The US gets Morocco. Algeria is split in two, with West Algeria going to the US, and East Algeria going to the USSR. The remaining French colonies become independent nations. The UK begins its long process of recovery, and elects a new Prime Minister, and Parliament. The UK's colonies declare independence, but the UK is too war weary to even bother to deal with them. The US and Soviet Union resume their Cold War. The Soviets establish the Warsaw Pact, as most of Eastern Europe is their control. The controlled nations become Soviet puppet governments. This war was the first use of nuclear weapons.

- After studying why the French ships used into the failed invasion of America back in 1981 were of Russian origin, the CIA finally comes to the conclusion that the USSR and France had a secret special agreement, and find out that the Soviets had orchestrated all this. They wanted the French to invade the US as payback for invading Cuba. But, they had a backup plan in case the French failed. They knew the US would find that the ships were of Russian origin, and declare war on them. They would then use this war to attack the US. The UK is in too much distress and post-war recovery to even help America.

- The US declares war on the Soviet Union. The CIA assassinates an aging, but still powerful Nikita Khrushchev. This act is praised by those who fight for freedom, and end to those who wish to see the end of Communism. It is revealed that Khrushchev commit serious crimes against Humanity, such as when Yugoslavia opted to leave the Warsaw Pact, every member of the Yugoslav Politburo was assassinated, but Tito was kept alive for political reasons. Genocide was also commenced against Croatians and Slovenians for wanting independence from Yugoslavia. This was all authorized by Khrushchev. The USSR abolishes the rank of General Secretary, and instead, the nation is lead by the Soviet Politburo and not a single leader. Any remaining British nukes are now under American control. The Russo-American War begins. The US invades East Germany. West Algeria invades East Algeria, and wins. This means that USSR loses influence in Africa. Russia attempts to invade Alaska, but just like in the English Channel, the navies of the two nations become locked in a stalemate in the Bering Strait. The US also places nukes in Greenland, capable of striking Soviet Finland, and Leningrad.

- The US defeats all Warsaw Pact nations, except for one, the USSR. The US also defeats the Russian fleet in the Bering Straint and prepares for an invasion of the Soviet Union. More nukes are placed in these nations. The US has a last resort protocol of unleasing a massive nuclear barrage on the Soviet Union.

- The Soviets are desperate, and know that the mainland US is too heavily defended for a counter attack, so they decided to counter attack important cities outside the main 50 states. The USSR nukes Berlin, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. With most of American Canada destroyed, the US deems Canada to be a useless, nuclear wasteland. The US then abandons Canada to its fate, to save money by not paying welfare for Canadian people. The US responds to the nuking of Berlin by nuking Kiev, an important city in the USSR. The nukes in Greenland are launched, and Finland is destroyed. The US then invades the USSR from the West, but not the East, as the Soviets are have too strong of ground defenses to establish a beachhead. The All Soviet Socialist Republics are conquered, except for the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR), or mainland Russia. The RSFSR, as well as the rest of the conquered USSR surrender.

- Mikhail Gorbachev is elected to the Politburo, and gains much influence. He gets most of the Politburo to agree with him on the fact that Communism utterly does not work, and that the USSR is no longe

r needed. The USSR is dissolved (The US occupies all of Eastern Europe, except for mainland Russia, as a punishment to the Communists), and the RSFSR becomes the Russian Federation. The US heavily punishes Russia for orchestrating the war on France, and the Russo-American war. Brutal sanctions are placed on the Russian Federation, and this results in turmoil in the nation.

-The ever-growing turmoil in Russia increases, a civil war starts (and ends a few months later) and then the Russian Federation is taken over by extreme Right-Wing Russian nationalists. This new Nationalist Russia declares the US as the cause for all its problems. A weak and war-weary Russian army gears up, and then invades American occupied Belarus. Since it is weak, the Russian Army gets no farther. The corrupted and nearly powerless Russian Federation uses the last of its power to attempt to nuke America. However, the Capitalist economy of the US has made it possible to develop\ state of the art defenses. The missiles are stopped before they can reach the Atlantic Ocean.

-The US counter attacks and invades mainland Nationalist Russia. St Petersburg is overrun, and Moscow is nuked. The remains of the Russian government surrender to the US, and the US begins a long occupation of Russia.

–Present Day- The US is occupying many nations as punishment for starting the wars. Here are the nations under US control or occupation. The US is also the only super power on the planet now. And all occupied countries embrace Capitalism. The US and its territories become prosperous, and the US nearly dominates the planet, as most major industrial centers are under its control. Remember, the US abandoned Canada (The remains of any Canadian government topples. Many try to flee to the US, as their the country turns into a radioactive, Arctic, nomadic wasteland. The US closes its border with Canada, and many Canadians head north into the non-radioactive Yukon. Here are the countries liberated from oppressive Communist rule and are under US occupation:

  • means that the nation was either a former Warsaw Pact nation or a member of the USSR.

The UK never fully recovers from the Franco War, and from the nuke launched to London. A new capital is built in Manchester, as London is still radioactive. The British people now have a deep hatred for the French. As a result, segregation occurs, and the French people in the UK are forced to live in ghettos. This creates more controversy, and the UK's reputation in the eye of US falls, and then Britain loses its trade with America. Thus its economy falls, and becomes a turbulent country that could never recover (sort of like Serbia in the late 1990's in our timeline).
