Rengsei Vishnuloka is the pretender to the throne of Kambujadesa and was the last Devaraja (emperor) of the Khmer Empire as Chakravarman I. He is considered a wanted criminal by the government of Kambujadesa for attempting a military coup.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Chrakavarman I was born on December 5 as Rengsei, the son of Emperor Samhanaopetavarman III and his wife Empress Indradevi. He was their first child and son and was the crown prince and heir apparent. When he was one year his brother Prince Serey was born. He went to school in the Angkor Imperial School, which was the most prestigeous school in the entire empire. He was a smart student and made many friends.

When he was just ten, his father died unexpectedly and he was crowned emperor on 6 April. His mother was appointed regent until he would turn 18 and complete his education. While in high school he met Sayrana Rajasinghe and eventually they fell in love.
Adulthood[]
In 2005 Rengsei actually assumed leadership over the empire and married Sayrana. He took the regnal name of Chakravarman I. In March 2005, he became father of a daughter and his so far only child, Princess Sumdaravana.
Abolition of the monarchy and attempted coup[]
In October 2017, the provinces of Nusantara declared independence from the Khmer Empire. Chakravarman ordered the National Congress to abolish the autonomy of Nusantara and declare war on the provisional government of the self-proclaimed nation. However, the National Congress instead voted to recognize the declaration of Nusantaran independence. Chakravarman subsequently ordered the abolition of the National Congress and ordered the military to arrest anyone who refused to follow his decree. Most of the military sided with Congress however and the National Congress declared the monarchy abolished on 21 October, ending the Khmer monarchy.
Chakravarman subsequently attempted a coup with military loyalists, who attempted to seize control of the capital. His forces were defeated, and he fled the country. His current whereabouts are unknown.
