Carl Ivar Hagen af Frogner is the governor of Norway. He is born 6 May 1944 in Christiania, Norway, the son of a wealthy businessman but a commoner.

Hagen entered politics in the Popular Conservative Party of Norway in the beginning of the 1970's, and was elected member of parliament. 12 September 2005 he was appointed the King's governor of Norway, and he was also ennobled and given the name Hagen af Frogner (before that, his surname was simply Hagen).
