Labour's George Brown, Hugh Gaitskill and Harold Wilson arrive at Downing Street for a meeting with Conservative Prime Minister MacMillan during the 1962 Cuban Crisis.
Gaitskell was Labour's Leader and Brown his deputy but Wilson was the rising star. At the time the, the US and USSR were on the brink of nuclear war over Soviet missiles in Cuba and the Opposition leaders were being briefed on Government actions. Within a year, Gaitskell was dead and Wilson defeated Brown for the Leadership.
