The Republic of Antioquia (Spanish: República de Antioquia) is a nation located on the northwestern edge of the South American continent. The Antioquian Republic was formed after slavery was outlawed by the United States of Colombia in 1850 and the Colombian Civil War in 1861-1863, when, with California and United Kingdom aid, it was able to declare independence from Colombia.
