The flag of the USA

The USA was once 3000 miles across and 2000 miles at its widest point North to South. By 1928 the US stretched from Alaska to Tierra De Fleugo on the tip of South America. The US in 1918 had annexed Mexico after the Second Mexican-American War due to rebel attacks on the USA in 1916. In 1920 the US annexed Cuba to enforce the Monroe Doctrine from Europe which had been at war for a year. In 1922 the Great War came to American shores with a surprise attack on Boston. The Canadians, British, and Russian forces quickly invaded most of the country from the north. Down south the whole of Latin American and South America unite into the nation of Pan-Latin with its capital in Montevideo, Uruguay. After WWI ended with the defeat of Britain in 1924, the war in Latin America continued. The European Central Powers pulled out their forces leaving the conflict, a American war. By 1928 Pan-Latina was subdued due to rebelling armies and new technology like flying aircraft carriers. In 1934 the United States was forced into war with Japan after the country threatening a vital US trading partner and nation holding several US bases. In 1935 the Japanese landed troops in Alaska. The territory wasn't liberated until 1937. The US stayed neutral in the Second Great War. In the early to late 1960s the US fought the Latin American War. The US originally fought against insurgent groups who demanded the independence of they're country's after becoming US commonwealths. The US was very controversial in using new weapons. Agent Orange was specifically made to replace mustard gas. It was also known as the first "air war" due to the US use of the helicopter in the war to transport soldiers from village to village. The US in 1962 had formed the Pan Latino/American Treaty Organization or PLATO, a precursor to the ULFN. The USA in the 1970s sat down after the major war in Latin America. The Office of Strategic Services or OSS carried top secret missions across the commonwealths destroying independence groups. The US started trying to find new allies in the world. In 1971 the US found Israel and the sovereign nation of Kurdistan during the Entente invasion of the Middle East. In 1974 anarchists destroyed the Empire State Building in In 1985 the US took advantage of the Russian Civil War and invaded Eastern Siberia. However after heavy losses the US was only able to take Kamchatka north. In the 1990s and into the 2000s the US was self sufficient on oil while Europe tore itself apart. The US also ignored the rise of China and its invasion of the USSR in 2009 which was a total disaster. By modern day 2016 the US flexes its muscles in the Americas while its oversees allies do the dirty work in regions. In 2000 the US started a ambitious space program and in 2005 managed to get a satellite into space. In 2011 the first man entered space on a rocket nicknamed, "Optimus Alpha". The United States Air and Space Administration or USASA in 2015 released a press statement that by the year 2022 the US would have a man on the moon. People had taken to nicknaming the rocket, "Optimus Prime". It is even predicted that between the years 2050 and 2100 the US could even get a man on Mars.

Canada[]

Flag of Canada

Flag of Canada adopted after the Great War circa 1925

Canada was always thought of as a peaceful nation since its founding in 1867. Canada for some time had always been the target of American expansion but by 1900 any thought of expanding into Canada was forgotten. Canada entered the Great War in 1920 alongside it other Dominions like South Africa and the ANZACs. In 1922 Canada and Britain launched a surprise attack on Boston bringing the US into the war. Canadians fought alongside the British and Russians in a misguided conflict. In 1924 the Great War ended with the defeat of the British in Canada and a military coup at home. Canada was brought into a sphere of US influence. Canadians now resented the Americans with the loss of their east coast. Quebec was independent and the eastern province were the Federation of Atlantica. Canadian troops a decade later would fight alongside Quebecois, Atlanticans, and Americans to liberate Alaska from Japan. By the 1960s Canada liberal prime ministers had convinced the public that the Americans weren't that bad. In the Latin American War during the 1968 bombings Canada was one of the many countries hit. Canadian troops had served in the war but more soldiers were sent after Vancouver was hit with several anarchist bombings. Canada was proud to support the USA and ANZACs mop up of the Pacific from Japanese control. Canada in the modern day is very liberal compared to the conservative USA, Australia, and South Africa to their south. The Canadians and Quebecois do agree on one thing, that they are surrounded by the USA.

Quebec[]

In the 1930s Quebec's army was tested for the 1st time in the Pacific War. The country fought alongside Canadians and Atlanticans and Americans to retake Alaska from Japan. Quebec was one of the members who signed the Treaty of Sydney against Japan. Quebec stayed out of international affairs in the 70s to secure itself and boost its economy. In the 80s Quebec hosted the 1983 winter Olympics and in the 1990s Quebec was voted one of the most peaceful countries in the world. In the Modern Day Quebec has isolated itself from the rest of the ULFN. Quebec and Canada do agree that they need to work together to not be surrounded and annexed by the behemoth known as the USA.

In the Middle East Patagonian weapons flowed to independence groups and Kurdistan. Patagonia also helped and trained independence forces in European colonies in Africa. In the 1960s the US and Israel established a mutual trade agreement. By 1970 Israel was the most technologically advanced nation in the Middle East. In 1970 Israel launched surprise attacks on Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. This added more chaos to the Middle East which saw a massive war flare up between the Hashemite Caliphate in Turkey and the Kingdom of Sunni Arabia in Arabia. Also in the 1970s Persia attacked the new nation of Kurdistan and joined in the attack on Sunni Arabia. In 1971 the Entente invaded the Middle East which turned out to be a horrible decision. Israel gained the full support of the USA along with Kurdistan. Both countries in 1976 gained ULFN membership. In the 1980s the Middle East settled down. By the 90s Israel was a Jewish-Christian state in the Middle East. It extended from the Golan Heights to the Suez Canal. South Africa in the 1930s would later absorb Lethoso and Swaziland into the Union. In the Second Great War South Africa seized German Southwest Africa. South Africa quickly fell in line with the USA due to the issue of racism. In 1966 both countries joint banned their segregation laws. South Africa wouldn't become a ULFN member until 1979 when it promoted de-colonization of Africa by Europe. South Africa throughout the 70s and 80s faced protests against the quasi-apartheid laws still held in law. It wouldn't be until 2000 when these laws would fully by vanquished. In 1987 South Africa decided to intervene in the ongoing Rhodesian Civil War. South Africa's involvement didn't start until its annexation of Bechuanaland. Southwest Africa in 1998 would join the Union as North Namaland and South Namaland. Before that could happen the rebels had to be defeated and in 1995 they were. South Africa continued to prosper past the year 2000. In 2010 the African National Congress won the national election for the first time. South African troops by the modern day would be used in some various African conflicts and in supporting Israel.

Ireland[]

Flag of Ireland

Ireland had always desired independence like Quebec from Canada. Ireland in 1921 revolted against Britain, however the British army was unable to crush it. In 1922 German and American arms flowed into Ireland when the British army finally overran the island. Ireland achieved independence in 1924 just like Quebec. Ireland quickly found the USA and Germany as trade partners. By the Second Great War Ireland stopped trading with Germany. Ireland quickly turned for America who signed a trade pact. Britain was forced to surrender. Some of its colonies outright cut contact from the empire like South Africa. Britain was forced to join the European Community. In the 1930s Britain and its former allies withdrew from the pact with Germany. In 1940 Germany invaded France to rebuild the alliance. For 19 years the Entente battled the Germans. In 1959 Germany surrendered and the Entente ruled Europe. Britain would in the 60s help rebuild Europe. In the 1970s it convinced the Entente to invade the already unstable Middle East.
