The Game

1998.25

Russian forces along with their allies have captured almost all major metropolitan centers on the eastern coast including the United States capital, Washington D.C. Some members of the United States Congress was captured. Protests and riots against Russia occur across the nation. Bill Clinton has escaped farther inland.

Vietnam’s army leads a massive charge against the occupied territory of Wu, leaving a path of destruction behind them. Although, many Chinese citizens of Wu begin to wage guerrilla warfare against the occupying allied forces.

Allied troops in Ukraine and Lithuania had to fall back after the capture of the United States fleet in the Mediterranean Sea, leading to massive bombardments by the Russian and Swedish navies.

Korean troops begin to surge all across Manchuria and Mongolia having steady victories.

The Balkan troops have nearly captured the rest of Romania. However, the Romanians have declined the surrender request and have attempted to do an offensive against the Balkan troops.

Russian boomers begin to devastate the United States Navy all across the Pacific and Atlantic.

Vietnamese naval ships have devastated the south eastern quadrant of Wu’s coastline. Leaving tens of thousands dead, both civilians and military.

Polish forces from the front lines begin to pull back to attempt to counterattack the Russian troops entering their country from the north.

Guyana meets with Venezuela for the border disputes.

With Las Cruces destroyed, the Republic of New Mexico is no more. NAL forces evacuate and treat residents, while hospitals all across Texas are filled with cases of radiation sickness and other ailments associated with nuclear weapons.

Japan: Japan continues to build up the Self Defence Forces and infrastructure is improved. Some of the Maritime Self Defence Force still continues to patrol around Japan. Synthpop, Electro, Techno, and Trance continue to rise in popularity. The Republic of Kyushu continues to rebuild the island. Tatsunori Katsumata continues working on some Touhou manga. Sega continues plans on creating a new console.

Commonwealth: Due to the usage of the nuclear bomb, people begin to feel against the current warring regime. Pre-Voting is showing less and less promise for the current regime. Conscription Begins. The army conscripts 500,000 for defense of the homeland. Forces in Europe attempt to push the Russians out of Poland. Navy is upgraded by 0.25. The government leaves 30 million dollars with the Antarctic cities for their care of the president, and he is withdrawn to a bunker in New Zealand.

Republic Of Ireland: 150,000 soldiers are enlisted in total (25,000 Navy, 125,000 Army). Sea borders are closed, same still applies for land. A castle is built for the president, and 400 soldiers are sent there to guard the president. The Republic Of Ireland still backs up the French coup, and wants to set up a trade route with the French Coup. TURNED AXIS. We send 3000 troops to axis front on the European theater and 2000 to the North American Theater.

• Russian Diplomacy: We ask if the Republic of Ireland will send aid to our European and North American theaters.
• Republic Of Ireland: The Republic Of Ireland would like to stay neutral.

• Republic Of Ireland: A recent turn of events has made us Axis.
• Secret Afghan Diplomacy: Afghan diplomats would like to meet with Russian leaders in Samarkand to negotiate a ceasefire agreement.

Appalachian Federal Republic:The army launched an invasion to capture Lycoming County by deploying 30,000 troops to fight off 3000 US national guardsmen. The Navy and coast guard begin to patrol Lake Erie. The government explains to the people that in order to preserve our freedoms, sometimes it is necessary to ally with a perceived eny and look at the situation through their own eyes.

2396 soldiers in Wilks Barre/Scranton surrender. The President gives them an official pardon, to the protest of several generals. He says: These men committed no crime. They defended their homes and families. Would we not do the same? Any US soldier captured shall not be harmed or arrested. They shall simply be stripped of arms, and sent home with a $1,000 stipend for bravely defending their nation.

Switzerland: The army begins to occupy France. Fillpe Di Agaleo is named Military governor of occupied France. The Nationalists reform Switzerland's government. We ask to buy Genoa from Lombardy. The Nationalists are able to gain money for Switzerland by making the banks VERY secure. We ask that the allies pick Geneva for the HQ because it is has the League of Nations, not United League of Nations capitol. We also ask that the banks are used to keep the allies assets.

Solomon Islands: The government tries to make economic relations with the commonwealth. Begins to better advertise tourism around the world. 

• The Commonwealth invites the Solomon Islands into the Union as a vassal or full member, they will retain full internal autonomy. However, foreign relations will be moderated by commonwealth officials. The Solomon Islands will receive conditionless protection, as well as a medium-sized grant to help them move along.
• You have no Zombies.
• Solomon D: accepts as a vassal.

West African Federation: 'The West African Federation is born after decades of war, civil unrest and Z-virus and begins to maximize everything from industry to military to research.  They also begin researching nuclear weapons and declare allegiance to the allied forces and declare war against all Axis nations.  Industry goes up by 0.25.

• West African Federation Diplomacy: We ask the United Republics to trade uranium with the people of West Africa and station troops.

Afghanistan: Fortifications have been built all along the northern border with Russia, preparations should any invasion occur. The draft recruits 40,000 troops this season, raising military by 0.25. Wartime rationing and manufacturing are initiated, raising industry by 0.25. The air force is withdrawn from Russian air space to protect Afghan cities. The main figures of the government are moved to a secure bunker in an undisclosed part of the country. The specialists from Santa Cruz (?) are put to work building a Zombie research facility deep in the mountains of Afghanistan. Secretly, Afghan diplomats request to meet with Russian officials to negotiate a ceasefire between the two nations.

• Russian Diplomacy: If you can we would like to meet you at Moscow to talk about this "border dispute" that we recently had. We are willing to send humanitarian supplies to aid your nation's people from that devastating earthquake.
• Afghan Diplomacy: We would prefer Samarkand, since it has more of a Muslim feel to it, but if it really matters we can work our way to Moscow. And yes, we will resolve any problems with that "border dispute."
• Russian Diplomacy: If you can go to Dushanbe that would still be good due to small distance between your nation and the city.
• Afghan Diplomacy: Works for us. Our diplomats are now en route, accompanied by a small military escort. We will begin the negotiations on the talk page.

Greater Vietnamese Republic : Due to the fact that our industry and navy is under threat by the Russian submarines and the fact that Russia was once our greatest ally and America was once our greatest enemy we have changed to the Axis. We change the equipment on the MiG-23V to be more of a fighter-bomber, We call it the MiG-23b. 210,000 troops are fully trained and build six giếng mo, six Lạc Long Quân destroyers, 15 Mig-23v, 15 MiG-23b and five tàu khu trục. We withdraw all forces from Wu and bring them home for now. Thailand and Burma have not switched sides so we invade them. Forces move out in the millions to attack them. 1,000,000 for Thailand and 1,000,000 for Burma. We declare war on Thailand and Burma. And we frown upon ‘’’West africa’s Stupidity’’’. We have withdraw all land we have occupied Wu and hand back all the land except the land from the Wu/Vietnam war which happened years ago. We begin to unify with Thailand and Burma which we have defeated due to there roag regime.

Russia: About 1,500,000 ground units have arrived in the United States to assist the invasion. Troops begin to easily capture the I-95 due to the destruction of military bases and airfields across the nation. Helicopters, tanks, and ground forces begin to move down the east coast by all means of transportation to capture the whole of the eastern seaboard by simultaneous attacks by amphibious and ground attacks. About 1,000,000 troops from the original attacks begin to capture the eastern seaboard of the United States with naval support. (Algorithm to be made; Algorithm successful). About 100,000 troops also begin to move through the Appalachian Federal Republic with supplies from the AFR to capture the state of Ohio and West Virginia (Algorithm to be made; Algorithm successful). If Ohio is captured then we can take control of the Lima Tank Plant and halt all possible means of tank production for the United States Army. Supplies are also taken in from our new allies the Balkan Alliance. In Cyprus, we have captured the United States Mediterranean Fleet and have acquired about four Arleigh-Burke-Class destroyers, one Ticonderoga-Class cruiser, five Spruance-Class destroyers, and the two aircraft carriers USS John F. Kennedy, USS Enterprise, and the USS Kitty Hawk, which have been inspected and incorporated into the Russian Navy. With the Atlantic under our control, our surface fleet continues to bombard the shoreline while troops easily captured the wrecked United States Naval Facility of Norfolk from small groups of defenders that were trying to hold out after the initial naval strikes on the facility. The aircraft carriers stationed there that survived the attacks: USS George Washington, USS Richard Nixon, and the USS Carl Vinson are still heavily damaged and were being repaired. However, they were not met fast enough and our ground forces have been able to seize them. Large amounts of tug boats and corvettes were able to tow the massive ships to the Russian waters at the Arctic Ocean where they are currently being repaired at shipyards. Ship designers are currently inspecting these massive carriers for their use with the Russian Navy. In about nine months they will be fully repaired under the extreme guard and protection within dry docks. However, the other ships of the American Navy stationed at Norfolk have been scuttled by our ground troops, including the battleship stationed there USS Maryland. Data from computers at Norfolk has also been collected, including the strategic position of every submarine and ship of the United States Navy. Our hunter killer submarines ranging from the Alfa-Class to the Sierra-Class have started the final push for the destruction of the United States Submarine Force. With intelligence gathered from Norfolk we were able to successfully the remainder of the US Submarine Force by using wolfpack tactics with hunter killers and submarine hunter choppers. With the destruction of the United States Submarine Force, our boomers begin to move in on the United States 7th and 3rd Fleets in the Pacific. Equipped with the SS-N-35 Swarmers anti-ship missile, we were able to devastate the United States Navy, destroying multiple “aged out” carriers such as the Midway-Class, Essex-Class, and the Forrestal-Class. This enables the use of our surface fleet without the worry of enemy air superiority. With the Atlantic under our control, ships begin to move through international territory underneath the cool, black Antarctic Ocean. Finally surrounded by our boomers and attack submarines, all out surprise attacks were unleashed upon the United States Navy in the Pacific Ocean. Within days, whole task groups were destroyed by the rein of Russian anti-ship missiles turning them into nothing but spare parts and sinking to the bottom of the Pacific. Troops in the Eastern Europe have easily reclaimed lost territory in Ukraine, Livonia, and Lithuania from the allied invaders after their retreat. Most Ultra-Nationalists and rebels have now given up due to the fact that the allies have retreated. We send about 150,000 troops to the Balkan States to capture the rest of Romania. Ground forces begin to easily pick up the pace in Europe and with the help of Korea, Sweden, Ireland, Balkan Alliance, Appalachian Federal Republic, Finland, supplies from Wu, and naval support we are now able to do a large scale ground assault to invade Poland with over 1,500,000 troops from all nations. The goal is to capture the listed provinces from Poland: Podlaskie, Lubelskie, Podkarpackie, and Mazowieckie. The operation for this assault is named Operation: Overwatch, which will gain us a large portion of Polish land and be the first major defeat of the allies in the European Theater. (Algorithm to be made; Algorithm successful). Troops in Washington D.C have broken into the United States Treasury and have moved the US gold reserve out of the country and into Russia within two and a half months. Large trucks carried the gold to the Washington Shipyard, where many empty auxiliary ships lay in the dock. Soon they returned to Russia with the whole of the United States Gold Reserve and have placed it in the treasury of the Russian Federation. This has started making the Russian Ruble the most valuable currency in the world, and making the United States Dollar obsolete. Factories have constructed about 600 T-90 tanks. We have recruited about 150,000 troops into the Russian Armed Forces. Rations are being distributed to all of our occupied zones. Troops from Korea, Sweden, Ireland, Balkan Alliance, Appalachian Federal Republic, and Finland have also started our first plan of action to invade Germany, where in the Baltic and North Sea, our 1,000,000 troops are being amphibiously deployed to capture the German provinces of Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. Shipyards have built about 18 Sovremenny-Class destroyers, 20 Udaloy-Class destroyers, five Slava-Class cruisers, four Kara-Class cruisers, 20 Lada-Class submarines, 12 Red-October-Class submarines, eight Oscar-Class submarines, five Typhoon-Class submarines, seven Alfa-Class submarines, six Sierra-Class submarines, nine Akula-Class submarines, and 13 Kilo-Class submarines. Construction of the five Kirov-Class battlecruisers is still in production.

• AFR Diplomacy: We ask that the Russians not engage any other nations in the America's besides the United States. We also ask that u grant Texas the states of Louisiana and Arkansas. We request control of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Southern New York. In exchange any territory captured in any other state will be considered Russian.
• AFR Diplomacy: We ask to purchase bombers and the Arliegh-Burke Class destroyers. We also ask them to not invade Texas and leave all nations in the North American League independent unless they attack and under their own influence.
• Russian Diplomacy: We are incorporating these new ships into our navy so no. Also, wait until the treaty to end this war is finally made, I'm not going to promise you land. Furthermore, I am not going to even attempt of gaining allies by the use of promising land to other nations.

Texas condemns Russia for its assault on America, saying enough is enough. Jeb Bush says in a speech, "Russia's behavior is both immoral and impossible to justify. It goes far beyond acceptable." Supplies are sent to aid the Americans on all fronts. 50,000 more troops are sent to Florida, hoping to push Rezurrectionists off the peninsula for good. (Algorithm to come) Aid to the irradiated and injured is on top priority. An infamous photo is released, showing relief efforts at a destroyed building from the small town accidentally hit by a nuclear weapon. The army is upgraded by 0.25.

AFR Diplomacy: We ask that Texas declare neutrality to prevent its destruction. We continue to aid Texas and offer them 30,000 M-19's.

• Texas D: We accept the M-19's and donate them to the US Military. Texas is profoundly disappointed in the AFR. If we let the Russians win, than what will they do? We both know they don't like us. They will try to prevent us from gaining any sort of regional power. The mighty United States will be their puppet. Every war, every struggle in the Cold War era will be for naught. The values Americans - and we - hold so dearly will be replaced with the ramblings of an ex-KGB agent. If we do not fight, there is no hope for a better future.
• AFR Diplomacy: The AFR government replies- The AFR government and military advisors evaluated the situation and decided on the best course of action. Things may change as this war is still fluid.
• Texas D: The best course of action isn't to submit to them like cowards. Worst of all, you attack your former allies. Your nation has become selfish. You can bet our alliance is over.
• AFR: What else were we suppose to do? We don't want to be conquered. We are simply trying to survive a brutal war that threatened our existence. If Texas can offer us a reason to pull out we will consider it.
• Texas D: You could have been neutral. You could have not attacked anybody, but instead plead neutrality. You could have aided the United States and turned losses into victories (you would have, by the way). You could have repelled the invaders instead of joining them. You could have stood up for all Americans, former or otherwise. Either way, it is too late. The blood of those National Guardsmen are on your hands. You claim to preserve freedom, but you just help others to take it away. Our alliance is gone. Permanently.
• AFR Diplomacy:The only men who perished were those who resisted. Any civilians are to be treated as guests and protected. Wounded US soldiers will be treated. We are simply trying to free New England from being a forced vassal o the USA.
• Texas D: You've done nothing of the sort. You've expanded for your own gains. Let them solve that diplomatically. Why don't you go invade the UR then?
• AFR Diplomacy: Instead of making threats back and forth that may have unintended consequences. Can we meet in San Antonio to discuss the war and possibly find a solution?
• Texas D: San Antonio was destroyed by Las Cruces. How about Houston?

Korea: We continue to construct a naval base in Shanghai. With Vietnam joining the Axis and Manchuria under our control we send 10,000 troops to all fronts (Eastern European, Indochina and United States) and we invade Mongolia. (Algorithm to be made.Algorithm successful!) We frown upon West Africa and we smile upon the Axis victories. 

Egypt: Egypt grudgingly and very cautiously opens its arms to West Africa, seeing that it has virtually no support anywhere in the world. The Egyptian invasion has been very successful. At the border there were a number of heavy clashes but after the army was able to overcome those, it has just been a march. Our generals suspect that the Algerians have massed their army in and around Algiers. Half of the Egyptian army heads south to secure villages where the massacres have been happening. The other half will hold its position until the south army loops around and they will at the same time attack Algiers from two sides. Total casualties on the Egyptian side of fighting: 12,527 infantrymen, 51 tanks, eight fighters, two bombers. IMS is pumping production up to full capacity, industry goes up by 0.25.

Dinetah: Dinetah expands the states of Utah and Nevada. The contest for naming the nation ends, with the American Federation (AF) becoming the new name of Dinetah. Elections end, and Phil Nastas is elected President of the AF. Gaeaism finally becomes the majority religion. The port of Colorado City grows to around 5000 people, and the first ship launched from it, the AFS Pioneer heads out into the Pacific to explore. With the invasion of America by Russia, the AF is caught in a sticky situation. Many Gaea believers believe that we should occupy part of the US while it is weak, while many others find that awful. In the end, the Gaea-dominated government believes that the US will fall, and that they shall become the successor state, so they send troops to "protect" some western US states. We SECRETLY ask Russia to sign a non-aggression pact with us, and say that we could split the US possibly. The contest for the flag ends, and a flag design is selected. The flag is very similar to the American flag, yet it is arranged very differently. The 42 stars on it symbolize the 42 "tribes," or "peoples," of America that live in the AF. The government of Dinetah has largely changed from Nationalist and Conservative to Nationalist and Liberal. Dinetah or the AF is finally coming into its own.

• Texas: asks Dinetah to help defend the United States and prevent the Russians from controlling any part of North America.
• AFR: We ask Dinetah to aid the AFR in freeing America from the USA that no longer looks after its citizens needs. We will aid you in capturing land and gaining power.
• Texas D: The AFR is corrupt and spreads lies. Do not join them in any way. The Russians are the ones who drained America's Treasury, killed American people, and the ones that invaded to begin this dreaded American front. Do not join the traitors.
• AFT Diplomacy: We point out that the USA never aided your nation, but the Russians did. The US might have conquered you.
• Texas D: We point out that Russia attempted to kick all of us from the CSTO and that Putin's regime has never helped us. They have no qualms about invading American nations, as we can see. The United States on the other hand, NEVER infringed on our sovereignty or restricted our expansion. The only time they forcibly annexed a separate country in the last fifteen to twenty years was the racist Confederate States of Arkansas.
• Russian Diplomacy: We accept the Non-Aggression Pact.

Wu: Army builds up and modernizes. 1,000,000 soldiers are trained and are sent the Wu Northern border. Surplus food from farms is stored and secretly sent to Northern provinces. More guns and tanks are built. Ten Zhilong submarines are built. Begins secretly spreading Wu propaganda in the nation of Manchuria, Shinjiang, ROC and Mongolia. Another million soldiers were recruited and begins vigorous training. 20 黑鸢-4 are built. Invades Mongolia with 1,000,000 soldiers. Can someone make an algorithm? Gets 2.75 in industry score. Continues lowering the price of life's necessities. 200 Hanxin tanks are built. Sends its first Satellite and also the Diannao Company creates the first Internet by computer scientist Ma Yun. Some people immigrates the Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau with a dual citizenship. Builds cheap housing around Shanghai and finishes building a light rail from the housing district into the Korean financial Shanghai. Asks Russia for a co-operative plan of mining rare earths, where Wu will supply the labour while Russia supplies the technology needed. Begins colonizing the inner provinces, including Gangshu, Xiaxi, Guizhou, Ningxia and Chongqing. Asks all Axis members to change the name into the League due to its negative influence in WW2. Unifies with the previously occupied provinces of Wu.

• Russian Diplomacy: We agree on the joint mining of these rare-earth metals. We request that Wu sends over more troops and supplies for the invasion of the United States of America.

Also the Internet has also been created.

Chan Santa Cruz: (Posting for David Rain by his request, Bfoxius (talk)). The education program continues, and neutrality is maintained in the war. However, the government decides that if we are attacked, we need to defend ourselves, and fight to the last man. Military is upgraded by 0.25. Influence continues over the Central American states.

Cascadia: The attacks on the US are condemned. Cascadia announces that any Axis ships nearing the area, along with any planes flying over Cascadia on Axis missions, will be shot down. Russia is asked to stop its warmongering and return to peace. In anticipation of possible retaliation, the military is expanded by 0.25.

• AFR Diplomacy: As long as Cascadia remains neutral, the AFR will ensure that it remains an independent state and will not be attacked.
• Texan D: We would like an alliance with Cascadia.
• Russian Diplomacy: We would like to let Cascadia know that Alaska is not an ally of ours and is just a rogue state.

Alaska is not a rogue state, rather has been quite stable after winning its independence from the US. Although Anti-US, it's not rogue in any way. 

Federation of The Arabian Peninsula: Development of the Saladin-2DU is already nearly finished, with testing started. The new tank is smaller in design than the Saladin-1D, with more powerful treads and a better engine. However, its armor is weaker and it carries less ammunition, but it can move faster than the Saladin-1D and can move faster and more agile in urban environments. The Mecca-Class destroyer, however, continues development, due to a general lack of expertise, but it continues without delay, and is estimated to be 25% completed with the design. Water is piped inland to many of the nations, except for Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait, and is used to increase the size of many farms and decrease water regulation. Five of the B-52 bombers are finished, as well as ten of the Quetzal-type bombers. A new offshore oil field is discovered in Manifa, and is estimated to hold more oil than any field in Saudi Arabia. A decision is made by the Head of Internal Development, Jaber Al-Mubarak (Kuwait), to allow Saudi Arabia and a private company to jointly operate the offshore field, which is agreed upon by the King of Saudi Arabia, but currently, there is no company that is picked to operate the field. Protests get more violent in Bahrain, with riots and soldiers called into the streets. The Sultan of Bahrain declines offers of aid against the Shia populace, and says that he has the nation under control.

• AFR Diplomacy: We send 100 specialists, plus steel and other materials and blueprints for the RoS ship mounted anti-aircraft guns. We ask that the FTAP invade Turkey.
• FTAP Diplomacy: We question as to why we must invade Turkey, since they have not been much of a threat since the Middle East War.

Balkan Alliance: The Balkan Army, in its war on Romania, is extremely successful, marching from Oradea to Bucharest with no more resistance than a small skirmish against angry peasants, who eventually were convinced the Alliance is good for Romania. Upon arriving at Bucharest, the remainders of the Romanian army put up a valiant fight, yet the odds are now 25:1, and they are utterly massacred. All men who even look like the could be pro-Resistance are killed without a second glance. As the army approaches the capitol, most of the government, who have sworn to fight until they die, are killed in a pathetic display or heroism. The capital is taken, and the New Romanian Flag is replaced with the Flag of Romania. After the signing of a Peace Treaty/Surrender, the Balkan Alliance has absorbed Romania. We work on creating a new and effective navy for the alliance, to replace all of our old nation's ships. The result is the the Balkan-Class aircraft carrier, the Liberti-Class battleship, the Uniti-Class cruiser, and the Furija-Class destroyer.

• The Alliance allows Russia safe-passage through our nation, for trade and military. We ask to stay neutral in most of their current conflicts, but we will be willing to defend the Black Sea, so that your navy can focus elsewhere.
• Russian Diplomacy: We respect your decision, but we ask if you can send supplies to the North American theater.

United Republics: Incorporation of Peru continues as they begin to execute the education and limiting poverty controls and reforms the rest of the UR has. The United Republics finalizes a compact of nationhood with Brazil, which will admit Brazil as one entity into the UR.  The UR continues to upgrade its naval forces by 0.25. The UR continues rebuilding efforts and building coastal defenses all across South America. Naval construction continues, with the UR Fleets continuing to amass large numbers of ships. The repairing of the three captured Nimitz-Class American aircraft carriers the USS George Washington, USS Richard Nixon, and the USS Carl Vinson have been fully repaired and are now part of the Russian Navy as well as three other captured American carriers, the USS John F. Kennedy, USS Enterprise, and the USS Kitty Hawk which have been acquired during the war. Balkan Alliance: The Balkan Alliance continues its work on a new navy, improving its Navy score by 1.25. This new navy begins to be staffed by veteran sailors, from our Merchant Marines, who have a lot of experience in commanding a vessel. Ukraine is also welcomed back into the Russian Federation where Vladimir Putin has toured around the state welcoming their people back into Russia. After World War III has ended, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin has founded the United Russia Party. As seen by politics, the Russian Armed Forces has finally reached it desired equipment capacity and has stopped ordering more vehicles for the Russian Armed Forces. Engineering Corps are left inside the countries that we have formerly occupied to repair any type of damage. Supplies are sent to the EHU to support their invasion and pacification of Turkey. As much as we would like to help pacify this threat that has attacked us, we simply cannot due to our military being war wearied. The United States Gold Reserve is returned to the US. Neo-Mughal Empire: The military succeeds in crushing the Coalition of Indian States in Rajashtan, driving their combined forces from the field. The army continues such momentum, capturing their bases and leaders. All leaders and POWs are pardoned by the government, except for some leaders of the Naxalite Republic of India who are hanged for crimes against humanity. Philippines: We finally agree to compromise with Oceania. We take down half of our missiles aimed at Oceanic bases. Cascadia: Amazon.com stocks continue to rise as Starbucks continues to expand its influence, increasing Cascadia's economy and industry by 0.25.

Federation of the Arabian Peninsula: The rebuilding of infrastructure continues in the recently captured provinces as a volunteer program. The Maktoob company continues working on its new idea for rhe region, instead of selling knockoffs of the UKs tech, which is starting to shape as a free mail service, and since none exist in the Middle East, investing has gone through the roof for this companies idea. The good mines from the Cradle of Gold is put into backing the Arabic Driyal, helping increase its value on the world market. Construction on the statue begins to break ground as the foundation is dug out and filled with concrete as the contractor begins to order marble stones to be used as the base for the statue. The cotton industry continues growing in UIC's Yemen, allowing for several textile factories to be opened up in the nation. Most of the navy is finally called back to the Peninsula since the war is over. A movement for female voting rights begins in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with a co-ordinated protest around many voting booths in the city during an election. They call for the right to vote in all elections, because as Muslims, their status as Women should allow them to vote. It was like many protests before, except that three major news agencies from the Federation converted the story, allowing national response, and possibly, a larger protest later on. A meeting of all leaders from each Federation nation is called for, and are to meet in Aden, UIC, to meet on various world affairs, coordinated economic strategies, and allow for great cooperation between nations. The meetings are called Group of Seven and are set to take place every two years now. At the meeting the topic of a larger percentage of military given to the Federation is brough up by Oman's Sultan, and was agreed upon based on his argument that their individual nations are protected better when the Federation can protect them better, which calls for more integration. They agree to meet with Federal delegates on making the Federation-Nation military ratio 60-40 instead of 50-50.

• Russian Diplomacy: We ask the FTAP if they can cut off all oil exports to the United States due to their new and unusual unjustly aggression.

Appalachian Federal Republic: The government votes to annex the land bordering Lake Erie in Canada as the counties of Ontario, Niagara, and Toronto. The industry upgrades by 0.25. The nation recalls the armed forces from abroad. A horde of 3,000 Zombies is found by an expeditionary force in Bradford county trapped by a rock slide. The government begins to work on an anti-virus software and plans to complete it by 2001. 6 F-12 interceptors are competed and one submarine is released. Lycoming County is 95% repaired.

• Oceania puts massive embargo/sanctions on the AFR.
• AFR Diplomacy: We thought Canada collapsed. We withdrawal our claim to prevent a unnessissary loss of life.
• Oceania still sees the AFR as a minor threat to an ally and does not withdraw its embargo. We ask that they pay more attention to world affairs.

Korea:  The occupation of Wu continues and we continue to set up housing, hospitals, stores running, sending aid and  begin to open up public transportation in the region. In order to retain order in Wu we upgrade our army score by 0.25 increasing it to 3.00. Immigration continues to remain in control. Korean WAF territory continues to modernize and the standard of living continues to be improved. Mean while in Korea the construction of the Seoul-Vladivostock railroad continues and the railroad has reached Pyongyang, Anti-Virus software begins to be developed in Seoul, and a new musical movement called K-Pop has a emerges and surges in popularity. It is expecially popular with teenagers and young adults.

Iberia: Announces the unification of Portugal, Granada, Galicia, Castille-Leon, Aragon, Catalonia, Gibraltar, and Andorra under the banner of Iberia 

. Iberia will continue to have influence over all of these nations former possesions. The Iberio will continue to be the national currency, and Iberian states will maintain individual membership in the Celtiberian Community. The Iberian use the already present IC system to merge their education, military, and other governmental facilities and such.

Emergency and Defense Agency (now playing a CIA- like roll), was put on high alert due to the ILOVEYOU malware, and the rise of cyber- pornography. The army builds up for an invasion of OTL Nevada and Mexican Sonora, and OTL Baja California Sur (both infected territories, Sonora and Baja California Sur would be invaded from Salton). We also ask the Republic of Nevada if they want to become our protectorate. As a result of the disinfection invasion, we would like to purchase 25,000 liters of Phlaxicortin-Y, to be used on water bombers painted with our roundels.

• United Republics: Mexifornya (OLT Baja California Sur) and Sonora (the slim coastal region of OTL mexican sonora) are both territories of the UR and are clear of infection. An Invasion of these territories will be treated as an attack on the United Republics. Please inform us if you're clearing out other regions as we will be willing to assist.

American Federation: Windows OS, which most Warchief computers are running instantly becomes unpopular due to malware and other security threats. One member of Valve comes up with a solution. Valve OS. Called Steam, Valve OS is similar aesthetically to Windows, but comes packed with security features. The retail version is also bundled with Half Life, and computer gaming becomes instantly popular throughouth the AF. Valve OS and Warchief computers are available now throughout North America. In response to Warchief's moves, Sonaran produces the game Call of Duty for its consoles. It is a WW2 era shooter with an addictive minigame known as Zombies. In Zombies, you play as a survivor in the Zombie War, and have to fend off unending hordes of Zombies in various real-world locations such as "Chicago," "Spokane," "German Countryside," and "Farmington." With Warchief's money that they have earned from people buying Valve's OS and Valve's games, they buy fledgling Texan video game studio, Bethesda. Utah and Nevada expand further, and Hawaii continues to be influenced by us. Industry is upgraded by 0.25.

United Republics: Continues launch of supply rockets. The first of the rockets begins to approach Mars. MOVE's overall mission is now waiting for the compenents of the mission to arrive in 2001. UR continues to build up its naval force, as well as continue work on mass manufacturing of F-14s, F-16s, and F-18 Superhornets, which now make up a majority of the UR Air Guard. The Three Indian Republics continue to be influenced by the UR, and expand southward. Sonora and Mexifornya continue to develop. The United Republics finishes building solar panels in the north, making all but non-major cities are under the BrighterFuture Act, and thus under green energy. Defenses are completed around the nation, as the UR looks for its next project. URSA's deep Sea research continues and continues discovering creatures living near these deep-sea underwater vents, potentially using sulfer as its breathign mechanism and using chemosynthesis. Both are being looked into further. UR commences invasion of Western Cuba for their actions in Switzerland (Algo: The United Republics successfully take Havana with force and soldiers occupy the countryside and cities to the west. Cuba is given a chance to surrender and have full control of their territory restored, at minimal cost).  Florida Sur, continues reconstruction. Colombia continues the process of being admitted to the UR. Venezuela demands a respone from Guyana after two years of trying to reach a conclusion on this disputed territory. Economic bailout of Russia stabilizes the world's economy, with focus now on South Africa's continued recession.  A new Florez Report is released. Vassalization and investment of Nicaragua is almost complete. Influence continues over Guyana, Suriname, Honduras, and El Salvador. 

United States: We withdraw the majority of our forces from Europe, and return them to the United States. After the realization of a Russian attack against the United States, a secret committee from the Department of Defense is established to make a new line of defenses. Massive government subsidies to American companies help to increase rebuilding efforts. Cities across the eastern seaboard are rebuilt, and highways are fixed across the region for easy maneuverability in the future. We begin researching into a multiple fire rocket launcher that can be mounted in defensive positions. The M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is created, being used to replace all previous rocket launchers. The HIMARS can be mounted on a standard Army Medium Tactical Vehicle (MTV) truck frame, or in permanent defensive structures. The defensive committee is impressed by the new rocket system, and they begin to be mass produced. Plans are created for a defensive network across the eastern seaboard, with defensive fortifications and regional military bases in all major cities. Defensive installations are planned that will utilize the HIMARS, MIM-104 Patriot surface to air missile, and other artillery. Air raid bases and fallout shelters from the Cold War are reopened and refitted across the United States, especially in large urban areas. The naval shipyards destroyed by the Russians are rebuilt to be larger and service more ships. An order for more Arleigh Burke-class destroyers is placed, outfitted with advanced guided missile and anti-ship technology. We demand that the Russians return all American ships and soldiers, including our flagship. (I personally wouldn’t have signed a treaty without this measure. Not to mention that most of the seizing happened in moderator events written by Russia.) We believe that they barbarically and inhumanely stole our ships, and since there was no mention of possession switching in a treaty, we believe that Russia is breaking the Treaty of Frankfurt by refusing to return what they stole. Five more Nimitz-class aircraft carriers are planned to be built within the next few years. The need for greater submarine capabilities leads to the commissioning of 35 more Seawolf-class submarines, a class of nuclear-powered fast attack submarines. The United States annexes New England and Standing Rock (not sure why I’m being forced to do this), according to the treaty. Outraged that the Appalachian Federal Republic would attempt to annex our territory, and that they would betray us against the Russians, we move 650,000 soldiers into the area with the objective of ousting the current government. We ask that all allies of the Appalachian Federal Republic understand our actions, and hope for their cooperation. Our announcement causes civil uproar in the Appalachian Federal Republic, since many are loyal to the United States or fearful of American action. Seeing no other option, we make the order to advance to help the Susquehannan stability. We announce to the world that this is not an invasion, but that we are trying to establish a better, democratic government. Anti-Susquehannan cities, such as State College and Williamsport are bombed and surrounded by ground forces. The region around Pittsburgh, which has been opposed to Susquehannan occupation, falls in rebellion. After a successful American-backed coup the county of Allegheny separates from the rebellious Appalachian Federal Republicans. Ground forces break through State College and seize the rival governing body of the nation. Stability begins to be brought to the region, as American intervention curves the internal Pennsylvanian conflict. A sense of national unity in Pennsylvania helps the people to put down their arms, although internal conflict still remains between certain regions. In a public address President Al Gore states that the region of Pennsylvania shall no longer be plagued by conflict, and that the Appalachian Federal Republic will never again bring instability to this continent. After the recent annexation of American territories, and pushed by public uproar for a more hard-line, strong government, a new movement known as Pan-Americanism develops. Stated by some to be the successor to Manifest Destiny, the public calls for unification with American territory, expansion, and jingoism to secure American freedom and security. After massive panic during the war with Russia, people support the concept, wishing for strong defense to secure American interests. US forces are ordered into the west to secure order. The warring gangs of Colorado are tamed, seemingly ending the age of the “Second Wild West”. Soldiers are also moved the Floridan border to defend against possible attack. US specialists assist in anti-terrorism and anti-Zombie efforts in the region, hoping to end Rezzurectionist actions for good. We ask that the United Kingdom allow us to continue operating in Brighton, and ask to discuss official terms. (That probably shouldn't have been in the Treaty of Frankfurt in the first place.) We believe that we should continue to hold Brighton, which one of our largest naval bases. We have invested too much in this region to abandon it, and have used the facilities to benefit the English in the region. We also believe that this may infringe on the early agreement that the United States would always retain control over Brighton for liberating the nation from the Zombies, and believe that there may have been a misunderstanding since Brighton is no longer a vassal, but sovereign American land. We ask that Russia remove all soldiers from American soil immediately, as agreed to in the Treaty of Frankfurt. We also ask that Russia change its ways and stop breaking the Geneva Convention, e.g., stop stealing money from countries. We ask the Commonwealth and our allies in the Pacific to allow us to perform joint naval exercises to better train for such an attack.

Russia returned ships after WW3, after a little bit of discussion. Florida and Florida Sur no longer is Rez at all and has returned to a very peaceful state. America is a leader in GUITO (link please?), and is completling recovery from WW3 both economically and physically. The AFR annexed Erie, while you were gone, and is rebuilding a returned county that they invaded during WW3. New England and Standing Rock were annexed by the USA because of mass damage and need of rebuilding during WW3. I think if you honestly wished you could allow them more autonomy, but it made sense during and after WW3, to have them directly under the USA government and banner. Wu: Unbelievably, Wen Jia Bao of the Democratic and Improvement Party won the election despite his terrible handling of the economy. Xi Jin Ping of the Communist Party, believing that the election was rigged, lead more than one million soldiers and more than two million armed police out of the Wu government and established the Second People's Republic of China in Guandong. To gain Korean support, Xi said that the PRC will continue the vassal relationships with Korea. Subsequently, Xi declared war on the Wu government and captured Fujian and Jianxi, where poverty is rampant. The people, who are tired of poverty and wishes the PRC to redistribute the nation's wealth, supports the PRC and mass riots break out in Wuhan, Shanghai, Daliang, Beijing, Holhot, Chengdu and Chongqing. The Wu government,trying to protect the space programme and the nuclear weapons, stored them in a underground research facility in Gangshu. Massive amounts of Wu civilians flee from Wu to PRC. The Wu government asked Korea and Japan for support, while the PRC asks for American, Russian, Korean and Japanese support. A great battle between Wu and the PRC happened in the city of Nanchang, where 500,000 PRC forces engaged one million Wu militias. The Wu militias quickly routed,  leaving now an open doorway for PRC into Central China.

Aquitaine: Continues to build up defenses along the coast and to the northeast. Enters into the Celtiberian Community. 

Toulouse: Toulouse contineus to build up defenses and start educational reforms. Aid is sent to rebuild the new Switzerland. 

Arles: Continues to rebuild Switzerland. Begins adding solar panels in many regions. 

Liberated Swiss Confederacy: Begins rebuilding. Declares neutrality in any conflict. Focus on rebuilding banking industry begins. 

Senegal: Continues to raise a militia to defend from rogue West African Troops. Pressures the GUITO occupation zones to ask for their independence as well. 

The Balkan Alliance works to integrate Romania officially into the Alliance, and a treaty is ratified, reducing nationalistic quabbles. We also begin to loosen the restraints of our government, and reach out to each cultural group with a national month of holidays. Greek Month is January, Serb Month is February, Hun Month is March, and so on. This gives nations a new sense of pride! Each population is re-invigorated and re-dedicated to the Alliance, and the current leadership coalition hits a record 87% popularity rating. The President himself reaches even a 92% popularity. All nationalism is effectively calmed down.
