World Cup 1998 Logo Proposal
Scandinavia - We are a first-world nation, capable of easily developing the resources to create a successful World Cup, where everyone will come away feeling happy. We have a wide selection of venues, and we have already begun building five stadiums specifically for this event. More stadium may follow, depending if we secure this bid. Here is a list of our stadiums being built:

We boast great summer time weather, great shopping, dining, and more. Meanwhile, we have a wide variety of cities to visit, each with unique heritage and history. We are a secure nation, meaning there is no need to worry about cancelling the World Cup due to a war. We are in a variety of organizations, such as the UCO , the ULN , and the CSTO . We will see you in 1998, Scandinavia World Cup!
Nordic Germany: Nordic Republic of Germany would like to place a bid. Nordic Germany believes that "Hey - there are many other things to do than just watch soccer". We are making a seaside resort for many things to do. We are a maritime city with lots of boats. Hey - you could even go yachting on our many yachts. The economy of this booming town shall improve making room for all people to do great. Kiel has beautiful fjords that you will love. We are constructing Kiel stadium for our new football club, Kiel European.
The vendors are wonderful with hotels based on all income levels. The food is a wide variety from Italian to Norwegian. The diversity of the city brings all types of vendors here so you are guaranteed what you want.
Kiel National Stadium boasts a wide range of seating based on what people can afford and like. You can buy suites on the field and literally on the field. Or normal seats wherever you like. You will fall in love with the stadium.

Seats on the field? Two things, 1: That is insane, how can you play football with people sitting on the pitch, and 2: It's pitch not field.
Local, the stadium has seats at the same level so you can look directly onto the field from the same height.
Why didn't you put that then?
- Flensburg, Hamburg and Bremen (Nordic Germany Members): Are jointly hosting a world cup with Kiel. We have Flensburg Remnant as another satdium. We also have Hamburg North and Hübener Stadium in Hamburg. Hübener Stadium is named after Helmuth Hübener, a boy who was from Hamburg and executed by the Nazis at age 17. In Flensburg you can visit the last capitol of the Nazis. Berman has the Breman American in Birtian stadium named in honor of the only city in the north that was American.
Sul and Brazil: A joint bid between Sul (South Brazil) and Brazil. Sul and Brazil would utilize the stadiums in Sul and Sao Paulo to bring the 1998 World Cup to its rabid fanbase. Sao Paulo is already a tourist destination with its beaches and hotels and would mark the recovering of Sao Paulo from its Brazilian separatism and the independence of Sul. This could potentially bring these two once together cultures for an enjoyable and amazing event featuring Brazilian beaches, song, dance, and amazing atmosphere. 8 stadiums would be renovated (4 in Sul, 4 in Brazil) and a new championship and knockout stage exclusive stadium would be built in Brasilia, Brazil, as well as one to host the semi-finals in in Curitiba.
Dinetah: Dinetah is a newly developed nation, and has a major tourism industry. You can do anything from climb snowy mountains, raft in raging rivers, to see the nation's rich history or natural wonders. Food here is diverse, ranging from Latin American to Native American to American. We have a wide variety of places to eat, from five star restaurants to dives, whatever your taste is. A stadium is being constructed in Farmington, capable to hold up to 50,000 people. Even though we are rather isolated, due to desert separating us from nearby nations, we still have phenomenal connections to the rest of the world via air and our alliances, the CSTO and the ULN. We are also technologically advanced, so you can take home the latest and greatest electronic devices. Korea: With the recent unification, Korea should be completely industrialized by the year 1998 and a high speed rail connecting Seoul, Pyongyang and Vladivostock is in the works. Korea is a top tourist destination for Russians, Japanese, Chinese, and Commonwealthians. We have a rich soccer with multiple appearances in the World Cup and championships in the Asian Cup.The landscape of Korea has rolling plains, coastal plains and river basins. Plans to construct top notch stadiums are in the works for Seoul, Pyongyang, Busan, and Hamhung.
Sul and Uruguay: Submits a joint-host bid for the two nations of Sul and Uruguay. Both nations already have established themselves with a rich soccer history and rabid fanbase. Four stadiums in each nation would be renovated for WC usage and expanded. A Championship State of the Art stadium would be built in Curitiba, Sul. Uruguay is already a top tourist destination for Europeans, Asians and North Americans alike. Sul further builds on the wine country, pampas region, and stunning Uruguay River. High speed rail already connects the major cities in both nations, making travel extremely easy from one region to the other.
Italy: The nation would like to submit a bid. The stadiums will be these:

- Stadio San Paolo (76,824 seats, Naples)

Rome is a tourist destination, for its historical monuments, such as the Colosseum and for its traditions. The local government is building a resort near the stadium, in order to receive the soccer fans from all the world. 6 stadiums would be renovated and the Olympic Stadium of Rome would host the finals. Soccer was well known even in the pre-zombie period: that was part of the Italian culture for long time, and it still is; the Serie A was the most important championship in Italy, and was relevant in near-bordering countries too. A high-speed train railway is planned from Florence to Naples, thru Terni and Rome.
Dinetah: Dinetah is a newly developed nation, and has a major tourism industry. Both nations posses the stadium (Argentina does alone), and a successful bid would lead to create of two major economic commercial centers in Uruguay at Montevideo and Maladono. Would be of great benefit to the region and may even calm down tensions in South Europe. Portugal has always been a strong soccer nation and would be the first World Cup in Europe since Z-Day.
- Confederate Med:
- Presents the fine opportunity to continue to instil soccer frenzy in this nation. Fresh off the 1982 World Cup Championship. Soccer has exploded throughout the country and has bonded the cultures of the islands. Would greatly impact the economy of the Conf Med and would help to pacify Southern Europe.
- Kingdom of Italy
- The King thinks it would be a great way to solve the war with talks in Nova Roma corresponding with the cup. Next turn in Mod events peace until the cup is over. The turmoil can have the nations solve their differences on the field. The city of Nova Roma will use this as an opportunity to strengthen the economy. We will offer for tourists:
- A magnifier stadium looking like the new Vikings one.
- A spot on the beach to wait.
- A wide variety of hotels.
- Good FOOD.
- Magnificent Water park.
- Resorts.
- Amusement parks.
- A man-made ski mountain.
