Italy expands its colonies in North America, two-fifths of the Suez Canal is dug. Italy offers the Anglo-Frankish Union an alliance and membership in the UN. Italy wants to change 20,000 tons of its new breed of potato into rice and spices from the Japanese Empire.

Japan sends lots of rice and spices ingredients/seeds/supplies to Italy to help them grow and can send more if needed. Meanwhile, Japan continues to build more bridges and plants a few more trees; as well as improving health.
Since the Italian population growth programme started the Italian population has exploded, hundreds of thousands of people start moving in the Italian colonies, mostly in North Africa and the Americas.

Italy plans to build a new city in South-America its name is going to be New Rome, the nations top architects and engineers are hired to design the best working city in the world, a huge piazza will be built in the centre of the city and the roads will be ten metres wide, the city will be built in the areas of OTL Buenos Aires, works will start as soon as the Suez canal is ready.

Japan offers to purchase the OTL Primorsky Krai, OTL Khabarovsk Krai, and the OTL Magadan Oblast from Sweden all for 29,000,000 Yen. It is to link Japan's Kamchatka with the rest of the mainland Asia under control of Japan and too keep in contact easier and connected. Meanwhile, Japan builds a few more ships.

After 24 years of modernization, Persia resembles something of an advanced European state and invades Kuwait, which falls to the power of the Shah in a year due his armies' greater technology and weapons; as well as greater leadership by the generals of the army.

Persia invades Iraq in an attempt to protect the Shi'ites in the country. The Sunnis are pushed out into the rest of Arabia and Persia is declared the "Nation of the Shi'ites." As a result of this, many other Shi'ite Muslims come and emigrate to Persia in order to live with fellow Shi'ites and to live without persecution. Persia also starts to export its fine rugs and other home ware items across the world.

Persia attacks India.
AFU: Colonization continues. The AFU, after months of preparation, invades Germany and quickly begins to take ground.

Persia manages to push back the Persian-Indian border to the River Indus. A peace treaty is then signed by the Persians and Indians to end the war and have the River Indus as the new border of the two countries.
Japan improves their infrastructure and continues building Taipei.
AFU: Colonization continues. The war with Germany continues to progress nicely and te war is expected to be over by 1544.

Italy finishes building New Rome and sends there 50 000 colonists.
Persia invades the rest of Iraq. Also a Persian construction colony while digging down to create foundations for a fort, hit an oil well and discover oil. At first they don't know what to do with it, but they discover it burns rather well and as a result use it to fuel oil lamps and in Persian imitation Greek fire weapons.
AFU: Colonization continues.The war with Germany continues.

Japan improves their infrastructure. The building of Taipei is halted after a weak typhoon has passed over Japanese Taiwan. Japan evacuates and saves many people as they can after the typhoon dissolved.

Year 1544

AFU: Colonization ends in Africa when the borders of the Africa colony reach the borders of other nations all around. The colonies in Arabia continue to grow.. The invasion and conquest of Germany ends, and the two small border states to Germany's east are easily forced into submission. The Anglo-Frankish Union is reformed te Union of European Sovereign Republics with its capital moved to Paris, where delegates from Germany, the two border states, now renamed Europa and Prussia, France, Ireland, and Britain can all vote on matters of importance to the Union.

Fearing the growing influence of the European Sovereign Republics in Arabia, the rest of the neutral states plea to join Persia and the rest are integrated into the Persian Empire.

Please, keep the map in its original resolution (1,356 × 739 pixels in size), and use the paint bucket tool as well...

Japan offers/convinces both Denmark and India a protection treaty, saying that Japan will protect both of them from any threats; they both agree. Meanwhile Japan improves their infrastructure, and continues to clean up the damage left by the weak Typhoon.

Persia invades Turkestan? (Not sure what the neutral country above eastern Persia is, but we'll invade whoever those neutral people are).

*UESR: The UESR invades the two states to its east easily occupies, for the lack of its actual name, the blueish-grey state and incorporates it into the Union while what I think is Muscovy is slowly occupied by European troops.

Japan signs a trade and economic deal with both Denmark and India, to help them. Meanwhile, Japan improves their infrastructure and begins to rebuild Taipei.
Italy signs a trade deal with India.
Ethiopia expands south and begins to build huge mining complexes that extract Diamonds, gold, Iron ore and other priceless stones from Africa's rich Deposits.
The Persian invasion continues slowly due to a large Turkestani attack, but the Turks are stopped and Persia recovers the lost ground.

*UESR: The conquest of Muscovy (the yellow state), is completed by the veteran European Armed Forces and plans for an invasion of Russia begin to be made. The Year of Peace begins between the UESR and the rest of Europe.

Persia continues the invasion of Turkestan and Persian sailors re-discover the island of Socotra in the gulf of Aden and colonise it.

*UESR: The year of peace ends when European troops invade and occupy the weak border state to the south of Russia (brown), which becomes a member republic of the Union. The invasion of the medium sized country south of Russia and north of Persia begins.

Japan improves their infrastructure and continues to build Taipei. Japan also sends some ships to Iceland and will soon invade it.

Persia finishes the invasion of Turkestan and completes the colonization of the whole of Socotra. It is established as a stopping point for Persian ships to re-stock supplies. This starts a trade route with Italy's east African ports. Persia also extends this trade deal to Italy as an alliance between the two countries.

*UESR: The invasion continues.

Persia offers Japan an alliance. Persia also consolidates its recently gained land in Turkestan, Arabia and Socotra.

Persia sends envoys to Japan as to forge closer ties with Japan upon hearing the Japanese's acceptance of Persia's offer.

Italy offers Persia and Japan a triple alliance. If Persia agrees, Italy will give them the Muslim lands it holds in OTL Saudi Arabia. Also, Italy settles more land in South America.

*UESR: The invasion continues.

Japan improves their infrastructure, builds up their military, and continues building Taipei. Japan accepts Italy's offer of a triple alliance.

Persia also accepts Italy's offer of a triple alliance and begins to move into Italy's former territory in Arabia. Envoys are also sent to Italy in order to establish closer ties.
Italy sends 200 of their newly bred cattle species that grow bigger and more muscular to Japan and Persia. Italy is also working on a corn species that can be grown in areas with little water, but this might take longer.

Year 1551

*UESR: The invasion ends and the country is annexed and carved into several member republics of the UESR. The Era of Peace begins to stabilize the UESR and its new conquests.

Okay, from here on out, here are some new rules:

If you miss a few years, and the next time you return, do not make turns in previous years and just make a turn on the current year.
If you upload a map and it's not in its original resolution (1,356 × 739 pixels in size), the map and the turn you made will then be ignored; especially if you made a turn on the year you missed.

Sorry to be so harsh, but this is to prevent confusion and to edit the maps easier; and to prevent any advantages from being taken.

Japan thanks Italy for the cattle; and in return sends some Sushi, Okonomiyaki, Teriyaki, Yakitori, and some other Japanese food to Italy. Japan sends envoys to Persia to establish closer ties. Meanwhile, Japan improves their infrastructure, builds up their military, and continues building Taipei; as well as offering Sweden (the country in Bright Blue; see year 1482 for reference) a protection treaty to protect them from any threats as well, and Sweden agrees.

Persia also establishes an alliance with Sweden, Poland (that yellow country in east Europe I think is Poland anyway :P) and the Cossack Tsardom (small brown country, I just made up a name for it :P) and the four nations come up with a plan to invade the blue country in-between them all. The invasion of Volgograd? (again just making up a name) begins from all sides of the nation from the alliance. Persia also pledges support for its allies against the growing UESR.
UESR: The UESR invades and conquers the small Baltic strip of a nation on the Baltic coast and also lands troops in Norway, taking the Norwegian capital and forcing it to be annexed by the UESR. Both newly conquered nations are given seats in the UESR Congress. The same fate meets the small turquoise country, I will call it Bismark, and the new conquests and representatives from these new areas boosts UESR morale greatly. Persia is offered Arabia to look the other way so the UESR can attack Poland.
Map wasn't 1,356 × 739 pixels in size so turn ignored and Also to add to the rule, not having map in 1,356 × 739 pixels will also result in a natural disaster and/or some form of disarray or something for your country for next year.

I can. I also just throw out there that there isn't a country known as Russia. That big blue country is Sweden and I have an alliance with them. I also don't own Poland. I am just an ally of Poland. A war with any of the countries in alliance with Persia (Italy, Japan, Sweden (the big blue one in OTL Russia), Poland (the yellow one in Eastern Europe), and the Cossack Tsardom (that small brown country)) will mean a war with Persia; unless Persia is given something to look the other way.... A tornado outbreak occurs in the British Isles. A few powerful tornadoes that are above 330 kph cause massive damage and one of them tears apart Birmingham and another hits Bristol. Meanwhile, a weak typhoon hits the British area of the Arabian Peninsula, and causes some minor damage.

Japan improves their infrastructure, builds up their military and continues building Taipei. Japan also builds more harbours.

The invasion of Volgograd by the four nation alliance of Persia, Sweden, Poland and the Cossack Tsardom continues, and Volgograd seems unable to deal with the four nation alliance's multi-front attack and the war is predicted to be over soon due to Volgograd's difficulty in waging a multiple front war, especially against these powerful nations like Sweden, Persia and Poland. Persian mapmakers also set about planning a map to be made to show how Volgograd will be split up between the four nations (basically I'll make the map of how I want Volgograd dividing; I'll do this next turn when the war will be over. UESR: Arabia is ceded to Persia so it will hopefully look the other way in the UESR attack on Poland. Construction to fix the damage begins in the British Isles. All of Polish Volgograd will become Persian.

UESR: The UESR invades Poland and easily takes Warsaw, the Polish capital, forcing Poland to be annexed and become a UESR member Republic. All of Polish Volgograd is ceded to Persia as a gift and an UESR-Persian alliance is proposed to divide all of "uncivilized" Europe, Asia, and the Middle East between them. Persia gratefully accepts the UESR's offer of Arabia and the an alliance. The invasion of Volgograd ends, but Polish war crimes are uncovered and Persia condemns Poland by nullifying the two nations' alliance and taking away Poland's winnings from the Volgograd war. After this action and subsequent Persian-Polish tensions increasing ten-fold, Persia hears about the UESR's invasion of Poland, and gives the UESR its seal of approval to invasion of Poland in order to stop this potential threat to Persian national security. The Cossack Tsardom is also invaded after they started to speak against the Persian's and their abandonment of their former ally of Poland. Sweden seeing this, keeps their mouth shut and continues friendly relations with Persia. Persian mapmakers finish the partition of Volgograd, as seen in the map opposite, which also doubles as the map of the world in 1554.

Japan halts the building of Taipei for now and Japan builds up their military and builds lots more ships. Japan, worried about what could happen, Japan rushes and sends lots and lots of ships to India and Denmark to help protect the nations. Meanwhile, Japan also sends some military into Sweden to help along with them and to ensure that Sweden is and remains protected. Japan wants to make sure India, Sweden, and Denmark is protected and have them be remained as free nations and not under occupation of another.

UESR: The UESR invades the blue and yellow nations to its north and south and easily overwhelms them, annexing them and turning them into member Republics. Plans to invade Norway are started.

Persia consolidates its latest gains in OTL Russia and tries to get the people of these new lands to obey there new Persian overlords. Persia also assures Japan that India, Sweden and Denmark are safe by forming alliances with India and Denmark to add to its alliances with Sweden, Japan, UESR and Italy. Persia also begins to orchestrate a scheme in partnership with various pan-Scandinavian unionist groups in which Norway, Denmark and Sweden will rejoin again to reform the Kalmar Union. Persia asks for Japan's help in this matter as Japan are also allies of these Scandinavian nations.

Japan agrees and helps organise a meeting with Sweden, Denmark, and Norway and discusses a possibility for the three Scandinavian countries to form/reform a new Kalmar Union. They agree and soon, the 2nd Kalmar Union is formed. Japan still continues to help protect them however. Meanwhile, Japan builds up their military some more and continues building Taipei.

*UESR: UESR troops land in Norway, and as it is very thinly populated, easily occupy the country and annex it, giving it republic status in the UESR. The Era of Peace begins.

Just read the above two posts, Norway is now part of the Kalmar Union so you can't invade Norway. Well, technically you can but it'd be against the Kalmar Union, who is backed up by Italy, Japan and Persia. Un-strike it if you want to still invade, but remember you'll face the wrath of the Quad-alliance.

Persia thanks Japan for its efforts in recreating the Kalmar Union. The Kalmar Union is added to the triple alliance of Italy, Japan and Persia in order to form the Quad-alliance. Persian sailors also discover the island of Bermuda and uses it as a stopping point for trade routes across the Atlantic to America, however it also allows its allies use of the island to stop off during sea journeys. A large prison is also built on the island to send the worst Persian convicts over to (similar to Britain and Australia in OTL).

Japan builds up their military some more and builds more ships; and the building of Taipei resumes.
Italy takes Spain, Portugal and Greece to be its protectorates, Italy gives the small portion of land it still had in OTL Yemen to Persia. Italy warns the UERS that if they attack Norway, Italy and its allies, will take it as a declaration of war. Meanwhile the Italian project of breeding a corn species that grows in drought is a success, these species are given to Persia and Japan.

Italy divides the church from the government, making the Pope only a spiritual leader, so that scientific research doesn't have to please the church. Christianity is still an important part of Italian culture, but disagreement is allowed. Italy amps up its military.

Japan builds up their military some more and builds more ships; and the building of Taipei continues. Japan builds more Shinto shrines in Honshū and Kyūshū; and they also thank Italy for the grain and sends them some Teriyaki and Okonomiyaki.

Persia thanks Italy for the land in Yemen and the grain; Persia sends exotic spices from Arabia to Italy to help them spice up their pasta dishes. Persia also begins a project to re-form the Silk Road, going from Japanese China, through India, then Persia, then to Italian Turkey, and from there across the rest of Europe.

Italy continues developing its army, Italian troops wear green and red clothes on top of their armour and have a Roman styled helmet. Alpini units wear camouflage but use the same weapons except for having a preference to silent hand-to hand combat. The Italian cavalry has many different types including the light cavalry troops equipped with a long sword, pistol and light armour, the catafracts using a musket with a long bayonet and heavy armour. Camels are also used in battle by camel rider, and camel chariot units. The Italian navy is also developed. Italy builds more ships for trade.
Persia also creates specialist camel and desert units to fight in the deserts of the middle east. These units are given specialist weapons, training, camouflage and equipment. The navy is also expanded and some ships are equipped with metal plates on the upper half of the ship's hulls in order to stop grappling hooks being able to spike into the ship, and to lessen damage too.
The UESR starts the training programs of special units in the cold, mountainous regions of the UESR North American colonies. This is just part of the wider measures to amp up the UESR army. Otherwise trade is also increased to amp up the economy of the UESR.

Meanwhile Italy sends troops to its other borders in case of other attacks. Italy asks help from Japan, the KU and India.

Italy takes the Northern half of the Arabian peninsula, and conquers the Persian lands in Europe, proceeding up to the Volga river. Persian held Bermuda is taken. Italy is very grateful for Japan's help. Italy offers Persia a ceasefire.

Persia pushes back the Italians out of Arabia, Jordan and Iraq using the newly improved Persian rifles. With the help of the UESR and organises a rebellion of native Americans, and Africans. A jihad is declared against Italy, and terrorist cells start attacks in Italy proper. The Greeks and Portuguese independence movements are also drafted up to the Persian side, and declare Greece and Portugal independent. Persia vows that Muslim lands will be under Muslim control, not heathen Christians. Persian armies reach the holy lands, and the Persian navy launches an attack against the Suez Canal which is rendered useless, and needed years of repairs. A peace treaty is also signed with India, and India returns back to the pre-war borders of the Indus river.
UESR invades Italian North America and helps the Native Americans to liberate nearly all of OTL USA from the Italians, and the North American Confederation is declared.
Ethiopia invades Italy's African colonies, and convince nearly all of the local African population to rise against the European oppressors.

Japan continues to build up their military. Satomi Yoshihiro gives far more rights and freedom for its citizens. Yi Sun-sin from Korea is elected Chancellor of the Realm. Japan gets worried and steps down, and goes neutral and peaceful.
Italy convinces the Native Americans to fight on their side after years of good treatment, promising them a free state in North America. With the help of the natives and the KU Italy takes back the East coast and Southern North America. Italy wants to sign a peace with the UESR, and wants get help in fighting off the Muslims from Christian-held lands. Italy has great advantage in men, technology and organization. and fights its way back to the Suez canal and takes back North Africa. Italy attacks the European parts of the UERS, and convinces the locals to fight on their side against the

English-run dictator. France, Germany, Poland and Hungary join Italy and take the rest of the UERS lands in mainland Europe. An attack is planned on Britain for the start of the next year. Italy send more troops to the Volga and Constantinopole, but doesn't try to proceed in Asia. Italy offers Persia a peace. Italy pleas Japan to help them fight off the invaders, since with Japan on Italy's side the tide will turn.

The KU says it will help the invasion on Britain next year, and will attack Persia if needed.

Persia pushes back the Italians in Turkey, after Italian reinforcements are stopped via a blockade by the Greeks and Persians. The Persians also unleash a new rapid firing Gatling gun mounted on a chariot, and the relevantly small Italian army in Ukraine is defeated. This new super weapon is sent to the Turkish and Holy land fronts, where small detachments of these Gatling gun Chariots run riot around the Italian forces. The longer range of Persian rifles also helps Persia defend from Italian attacks. Persia offers this map as a peace treaty:

Well in that case, the Native Americans were also very happy with Italy's rule and didn't rebel against the Italians. Other than that I agree with everything else but the Gatling guns.

Persia sets about rebuilding the damaged infrastructure the war caused, and creating new infrastructure in the newly conquered areas. The Grand Alliance is also formed between Persia, Ethiopia, UESR, and the American Confederation. The KU and India are observer states of the alliance.

After years of silence, Indians, who were completely good folk doing everyday works, farming, fishing and hunting where fighting with each other, food was out and country was in total anarchy. But in 1581 a philosopher arrived to India, his name was Spock. He taught a new religion: logicism. Indians who have been without leaders and trust for the future, named Spock as their King! Spock refused. He wanted to be the head of constitutional republic of India. So, from this day there shall be one more Empire, Republic of India and its leader Chancellor Spock.

India has complete its structure reform. Italy's food assistance came precisely when it was needed. India begins to mine gold and jewel from Himalaya. Chancellor Spock's target is that to year 1587 India's army would be built up to 50,000 men. Chancellor is still working on new constitution. Delhi's academy of physics is founded. Every Indian is now converted to logicism.
UESR: The UESR's armies begin to line up on the border with Italy while the UESR Siam colony is offered to Japan if it declares war on Italy. War will not be declared on Italy until next year. Massive fortifications on the Italian border are finally completed while Persia is sent 2,000 tons of grain as a gift for its people.
Italy: In the rare scenario that Japan would consider attacking its ally due to the UESR's offers, Italy assures Japan that if necessary Italy will conquer Siam for Japan in order to keep the peace. The massive Italian army, with the help of its allies, attacks the UESR, the fortifications are avoided with the help of the Germans who are promised the Austrian land controlled by Italy. With Germany independent the UESR is split in half, Italo-German forces Invade France taking it completely by the end of the year: Meanwhile, KU forces Invade the eastern parts of the UESR taking half of the areas. Italian ships, being clearly more developed than the British fleet, deploys armies in Britain and takes over Southern England, with the exception of London, which is being besieged. The KU take Scotland. Italian forces in the Americas take over the UESR's colonies, with the help of the natives. Italy hopes Persia keeps out of this mess, reminding the Persians of the TCA's clear advantage. Italy promises Persia's membership in the TCA which will be much more valuable than 2000 tons of grain, and if Persia wants the grain Italy will double the amount that the UERS gave them. As a precaution TCA countries get ready for a Persian invasion. Italy sends soldiers from Australia to help Japan's possible invasion of Siam. Italy gives the former UESR's land in OTL Northern Argentina and some land in OTL Chile to Japan. Italy apologises for the mess but hopes that the Japanese understand that either this, or the invasion of Italy was inevitable, and hopes that this doesn't affect Italian-Japanese relations negatively.

Japan continues to build up their military and the building of Taipei is once again halted. Satomi Yoshihiro is having to think, as he does not want Japan to be attacked/invaded by anyone and rather to just have peace in the world; so he stays neutral. However, he allows that if some people in Japan wants to help and support anyway, they are free to do so. Soon, Toyotomi Hideyoshi and some of the Japanese military go off to help Italy in the war. The rest of the Japanese military stay in Japan and keep guard of the borders and prepares to defend if necessary.
Persia kicks the UESR out of the Grand Alliance, and has the Grand Alliance integrated into the TCA. (This means Persia, Ethiopia, and the American Confederation join the TCA). Persia sends its navy to conquer Madagascar.
Ethiopia invade the UESR colonies in Africa. The local populace also rise up against the UESR as they'd rather have an African leadership.
Italy takes London and the rest of England and Wales, Italy wants Persia to give it the area that OTL Egypt has in Asia, so that it could maintain the Suez canal without crossing the borders every time its workers have to cross the Canal. Countries like the Netherlands, Hungary, Ireland and Poland are formed. Italy takes control of OTL Belgium and Luxembourg.
- Persia instead offers the creation of an international free zone around the Suez Canal so that it is neutral and any country can use it. Workers can go around as they please in this international free zone.
- Italy is happy with this idea, Italian Carabinieri are sent as policemen to keep order around the Suez Canal. Workers are also sent to fix the Canal.

Italy conquers the former UERS held Western African coastline. Italy thanks its allies for their help. Italy leaves a Legion under Japanese control if they want to invade Siam. Italy wants to organise a vote in the TCA to decide if the American Confederation should once again be part of Italy or should it maintain its independence.

Germany: Happy with the defeat of the UESR, the German Army declares war on the brown nation to its east and the blue country below it, and soon the German Armies take there capitals and both are annexed. The First Reich is proclaimed in July with while German Marines prepare to invade Ireland and conquer the nation. In a rush of national pride, several colonies are established in former UESR Siam, which Germany claims as its "Inheritance" from the former UESR. The UESR begins a massive military buildup. The German Navy is begun with the launch of the HKS Deutschland.

Spock is told to go back to Startrack and stay in his own universe.

Persia launches a new university system in order to keep the country innovating and staying ahead technologically of its rivals. The Gatling gun chariots are kept especially secret, but Persian engineers start to plan the Gatling gun chariot without the horse, as the horse was the weakest part of this weapon due to the horses usually being poorly armoured and being scared of the battlefield. Guns without horses which are simply pushed/pulled around like cannons, become the norm for the Persian armies, but Persian engineers are keen to recreate the agility of the chariot.
After the war, Italy concentrates on the well being of its citizens, and technological development. While Italy is still the most technologically advanced country in the world, it sees that Persia is catching up. Several research centres are founded all over the Kingdom, most of them located in Italy, France, England and Egypt. Leonardo Da Vincis inventions are studied thoroughly, for example, the Italian ships are now starting to use double hulls, prototypes of submarines are built and new war machines are tested. During the Italo-Persian war the Italians managed to kill a few Gatling gun charioteers and their futuristic weapons have been studied ever since, finally Italian scientists and engineers understand how the gun works and are able to build fully working Gatling guns. This technology is shared with Japan and India.

And as for the American Confederation dispute, Japan doesn't take a side, and says that its up to the American Confederation whether or not to be part of Italy, whatever makes them happy; but in all honesty whatever the choice comes down to, Japan hopes it doesn't lead into another war.
Italy has a proposal: Italy gets back most of its lands in the American Confederation but the AC will be left with a portion of land the size of OTL US state of Washington on the Pacific coast. Italy builds universities and research centres all over the Kingdom. More ships are built for trade and military.
Persian scientists discover that when water gets hot enough it evaporates and boils away into steam. This can be stopped if the steam is kept in a container so the steam can't escape and it eventually condenses. However the container can't get too hot or be too small as it seems the steam takes up more room than the water. This last fact was discovered after some of the containers burst their lids off sending them shooting off like a bullet. Some Persian scientists try to harness this power by attempting creating a "steam gun".

A maternity clinic system is founded where children and mothers are taken care of during and after birth, this decreases the already low infant mortality rate.

Italy starts searching for medical herbs from the Americas with the help of the natives. Thousands of Italians move into the new lands in Europe.
Persia having invented the steam engine to move things up and down like lifts in mine shafts; the Persian inventors however flip it around so that they make it so the lifts go side to side. This isn't that useful, and it is subsequently changed to be an opening mechanism on large fortress doors. This side to side stuff however leads the Persian inventors to create a piston, which they then connect a wheel to. A large steam powered chariot is created as a result. The wheels of this chariot seem to get stuck in the sand a lot though and having these chariots going up and down roads is seen as dangerous to other road users. The Persian road makers however purpose a new system of roads for only chariots, and these roads will have tracks for which the chariot's wheels will go in to stop them sinking and stopping the chariots from veering off. These track-confined, steam powered, chariots are named "Trains" and the train line network starts to be built across Persia, following the main roads in the current road network. Caravan traders then get the idea to build their own trains so that they can transport their wares easily and quickly. Seeing these caravan companies making use of the train lines, the Persian Shah orders that publicly accessible trains be put on the tracks so that his people would be able to move around quicker and easier.

Oh please, Gatling guns and trains in the 1500s. Save something for the future. (Remedello)

Persian railways begin to span the Empire, and the steam engines are fitted onto ships as well so Persian naval power can increase. Persia also begins outfitting the Silk Road with rail-tracks, and as a result the Silk Road is renamed the Transcontinental Silk Route.
