Federation of the Americas (Federación De Las Américas) is a political, economic, and military union of North American, Central American, South American, and Caribbean nations. It was established in the wake of multiple conflicts in South America that culminated into a Hugely Pro-Brazil alliance known as the SADC (South American defence coalition.) Less than 30 years after Brazils spontaneous rise to power in the Americas the nation along with Argentina and the Oil Mogul nation of Venezuela secured enough influence to safely say their influence spread across the majority of the Continent.
Rise to Power
Under the leadership of the strongly Ultranationalist/Fascist and Pro-Axis Getulio Vargas , Brazilian Hegemony spread unchecked throughout the rest of South America preemptively checking a hostile Argentina, and securing influence in Venezuela. After a few years of instability and the Venezuelan Civil war President Vargas of Brazil realized he needed wider support and began a relationship improvement campaign. Widely Successful the triad of Nations expanded their influence to Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, and eventually Peru in a Intervention against a war in Chile.
Alongside the militarized rise the Brazilian and Argentinian economies quickly became the two largest economies in South America with their allies and unified economies becoming a major Economic rival to the United States. This Development while previously hostile ended in a positive relationship between the two countries which continues into the Unified State.
The three Founding members of the Federation were Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina who after nearly a decade of interconnecting economies and infrastructure and bi-ethnic friendly policies as well as to Venezuela and Paraguay the only three countries willing to initially create the country were Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina. Venezuela and Paraguay both had their own arguments for now initially joining however Venezuelas were economic, and Paraguays were valid argument addressing State vs Federal rights and the location of a new Capital for the Federation. Just months after the Federation was formed the new country had secured all its territory begun mass integration and centralization projects and managed to talk out its agreements with Paraguay and Venezuela over states rights, the location of the Capital among other things.
In 1955 after months of Discussion the issues between Paraguay, and Venezuela, and their entrance into the Federation was for the most part dissipated as Paraguay gaurenteed more civil rights, and more States rights much like the United States. With this the Paraguayans were also brought in when the Capital was scheduled to be constructed in the Chaco region of Paraguay, which while developed for resource extraction was lacking any major cities. The building of the new Capital of Santa Salvación (Spanish) or Santa Salvação (Portuguese) in the Chaco region flooded the area with immigrants from all over and provided mass exploitation and labor to the region. More Recently Guyana has made an entrance into the Federation.
The Federation of the Americas is a federal presidential constitutional republic, based on representative democracy. The federal government has three independent branches: executive, legislative, and judicial. Executive power is exercised by the executive branch, headed by the President, advised by a Cabinet. The President is both the head of state and the head of government. Legislative power is vested upon the National Congress, a two-chamber legislature comprising the Federal Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. Judicial power is exercised by the judiciary, consisting of the Supreme Federal Court, the Superior Court of Justice and other Superior Courts, the National Justice Council and the regional federal courts. The Federal Constitution is the supreme law of Federation. It is the foundation and source of the legal authority underlying the existence of the States and the federal government. It provides the framework for the organization of the government and for the relationship of the federal government to the states, to citizens, and to all people within the Federation. The seat of the federal government is located in Santa Salvación.
The Economy of the Federation is largely industrial with a lesser agricultural economy as well. The Industry is well into being a Rival to the United States and is the largest industrial nation in South America, as well as a Global leader in a few domestic industries particularly Oil. The Economy of the country has undergone steady growth since the formation of the country and during the construction of the new capital it slumped moderately. The Federation does also maintain a large Military and arms industry, as well as a emerging auto industry.
The Economy maintains its major growth with the exploitation of all member states less settled areas and turning them into resource exploitation or industrial areas. Paraguay, and Northern and western Brazil have been the major sites of large exploitation and development during the prevous years which has remained in the creation of the Federation. The Poverty problem has also been solved as the Brazilian government managed to migrate major amounts of people from favelas to new jobs and better housing in the Amazons and various other areas. The problem was solved in various other areas as well through similar means or other job creating policies.
The Federation military is the main force which is used in the defense of the Federation of the Americas. With a strength of nearly 1,500,000 and possible expansion, The Federation is the largest Armed forces in the Americas.

The Federation Army is the land arm of the Federation Armed Forces. The Army has fought in several international conflicts, mostly Abroad In the 20th century. Being a large scale Resource mogul and the largest amount of resource extracting businesses and contracts worldwide, the Federation as a highly complex and dynamic military system geared towards protecting those interests. The Federation currently maintains most policing operations in South America, West Africa, and the Central and South Atlantic with army forces deployed to many of these areas to prevent large scale civil wars and outright genocides. Domestically, besides facing Integration issues the Federation has remained supportive of its allies, and is supported by the Elites of Brazil, and the Aristocrats of Argentina with big international capital backing various private development interests. While the Navy seems to get more focus the Federation army is still relatively well outfitted and thanks to sub-contracting, relatively cheap source materials, and the exportability of many of the armies developed weapons the Federation army is one of the most well armed on the planet capable of going toe to toe with nearly all Great powers and having vast superiority of many others.
The Federation Air Force (Portuguese: Força Aérea Federação, FAF) is the air branch of the Federation Armed Forces and one of the three national uniformed services. The FAF was finds its roots in the Brazilian aerial system when the Army and Navy aerial branches were merged into the air branch were merged into a single military force initially called "National Air Forces". Both air branches transferred their equipment, installations and personnel to the new force. which by the formation of the Federation began the integration of all joining members air forces. The Federation Air Forces nearly equal to in personnel and equipment type to the United States of america and thus it cannot be differentiated which is larger. it is widely believe however the the Federation Aerial forces are just a bit smaller than their North American Counterpart. Using highly technological aircraft the Federation Air forces along with lots of competitive small and medium business choices (which make more profit with military than civilian) get relatively cheap aircraft which allows for their numbers. The most expensive parts of the aircraft are rumoured to be the computer systems which have not made their way into heavy private industry yet. The Aircraft are shown to be top notch and have notably held their own against the British Royal Air Force and in many cases beaten them in their prime.
