Location of FDNE
The Federal Districts of New England (or FDNE) was created in September 1945 when New York, New Hampshire and Massachusetts gained independence and joined the Republic of New England. As the Republic wasn't a very large and influential nation, they couldn't properly run the nation properly. So it became the FDNE and made each former state a district. In 1946, Maine and Vermont secede from the U.S. and join the FDNE.
