Ethiopia, officially the Ethiopian Empire (Amharic: የኢትዮጵያ ንጉሠ ነገሥት መንግሥተ), is a large nation located in East Africa. Home to more that 113.2 million imperial subjects, the Ethiopian Empire is the largest and most powerful nation on the continent. Established around the same time as ancient Egypt, Ethiopia is one of the world's oldest surviving nations, and one of its most diverse. The empire is divided in numerous domains, each home to a specific ethnic majority. This in turn make up the empire as a whole, while allowing the numerous ethnic groups within to have a voice in their homeland.
