The English general election of 2011 was held on May 5th 2011 for all 601 seats of the English Parliament. The incumbent Social Democrat government of Tony Miller was re-elected for a second term, although with a significantly reduced majority.

The Social Democratic party won 330 of the 601 seats, giving them an overall majority of 59 seats.
