The Socialist Revolution of England is the term given to the period of conflict between 1918 and 1922, most accentuated by the all-out war between the Socialist Republic of England and the Republic of England from November 1920 to March 1922. The war ended with the Socialist's successful capture of London and the establishment of the revolutionary regime in England. The victory of the Socialists in England inspired various other revolutionary movements throughout the Western world, and the fear of a similar uprising in various other countries resulted in the brutal reprisals against organized labor in the Western word, in particular in France and Ireland.
