The English Armada was a fleet of English ships who capitalized on the advantage achieved after the failure of the Spanish Armada. The destruction of the Spanish fleet led to the English conquest of Patagonia and the re-establishment of France Antarctique in former northern Argentina. The war ended almost a century of Spanish dominance over all other European powers.
