England was a small nation situated in the southern area of the British Isles from 1952 to 1990. The nation gained independence from the British Union in 1952 after the English Revolution. It played a key role in the Cold War, remaining the only significant democratic nation between America and the German Empire. The nation had a very rainy climate and covered 50,364 square miles of land at its height. England played a pivotal part in World War III, even "defeating" Germany and gaining some land back for the French Empire. Later, as a result of World War III, the nation was able to defeat and absorb the British Union, reforming the British Empire in 1990.
