Edgar II (mostly known as Edgar the Ætheling) (c. 1051 - 28 August 1118) was an Anglo-Saxon King of England, and was the first Anglo-Saxon King in over 30 years at that point. For most of his early life, he lived in exile until 1089, when he won control of the kingdom in April of that year.
