Duchy of Aquitania (Imperium Islamica)

The Duchy of Aquitania (Occitan:Duche d'Aquitània) was the state that existed from 182 AH to the declaration of the Aquitanian Empire in 932. The nation gained independence when the duke of the autonomous region declared independence. Being far removed from the Franks, the nation quickly gained independence, becoming the first nation to gain independence from Francia. It became one of the only two Cathar nations in Europe and gained power in the early Colonial Era with the invasion of the Aztec Empire in 926. Following victory in 932, the foundation of the modern state of Aquitainia was set up, as Aquitainia became the second most powerful state in the world, after Austria.
