The currency of the American Union is the dollar. Each constituent nation legally has their own currency which is pegged to the American Union Dollar. For example, the Deseret Dollar is worth the same as the United States Dollar, and both are legal tender in the entire American Union.

United States Dollar[]
The United States Dollar is printed at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C. This is the most widely used dollar variant internationally and sets the exchange rate for the American Union Dollar. No living person may be on any United States currency, including the Queen.

Deseret Dollar[]
The Deseret Dollar is printed at the Ministry of the Treasury's Printing offices in Zarahemla, Colorado. This is the second most widely used dollar variant internationally and is known for polymer banknotes (Deseret is the only Dominion to use polymer banknotes). The Governor-General and the Queen are the only two living persons on Deseret currency.

The California Pound is printed at the Mint in Port George, Northern California. While not a Dollar like the other currencies, the Pound (CAP) is still pegged to the American Union Dollar. The Pound decimalized with the United Kingdom in 1971.
