Dai-tō-a

Dai-tō-a shows the world in 1960.
In the Dai-tō-a timeline the Japanese Empire decides not to attack the American fleet at Pearl Harbor, which culminates in a successful conquest of most of East Asia and the establishment of the Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity sphere, or in Japanese "Dai-tō-a Kyōeiken".
As the United States is not dragged into the war the Soviet Union has to fight Nazi-Germany all by itself. Backed with shear manpower Stalin's technologically inferior forces manage to steamroll to the Channel, setting up puppet states along the way. Poland, Finland and the Northernmost region of Norway are annexed to the Soviet Union.
The British Empire, realising that most of Europe was captured by its "ally" the Soviet Union seek further integration with their colonies and dominions, granting all colonies home-rule and establishing the so-called "Imperial Federation" with them. The Imperial Federation also pursues closer bonds with the United States.
That very United States remain staunchly isolationist during the war, but the rise of Japan on the western banks of the Pacific lead to the awakening of this dormant superpower and the United States start to build up a strong Pacific defence.

POD December 1941: The Japanese Empire decides not to attack Pearl Harbor.
November 1942: Japanese forces launch a massive attack on the European holdings in South East Asia.
July 1946: New communist government installed in Paris: establishment of the French People's Republic. The Free French in Brazzaville continue to claim to be the real France. The Vichy government, which has relocated to Dakar does likewise.
September 1946: Soviet Forces reach the Channel.
November 1946: The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany sign the treaty of Minsk ending World War II, Britain accepts and signs too. The Soviets establish hegemony over continental Europe, also triggering revolutions in countries which did not participate in the war, such as the Iberian countries, Sweden, Turkey and even the Maghreb.
March 1948: Proclamation of the Imperial Federation in London.
February 1949: The Treaty of Honolulu also known as the Pacific Purchase is signed, the United States buy all French Pacific possessions from a combined delegation of the French governments in Dakar and Brazzaville. The Anglo-French condominium of the New Hebrides is also bought, The Imperial Federation gets the American Line-Islands and the guarantee of both economic and military support from the United States.
March 1952: The Brazzaville French government disbands, the area under Free French control is granted independence as the Republic of Equatoria.
November 1952: After many protests the Dakar French government also disbands and its territory in West Africa is granted independence as the Republic of Mali.
