Costa Rica was put under United Republics administration after the United Republics conquered Gran Colombia in the War of Amazonia. Costa Rica is one of the most developed territories and has a high quality life. Quick rebuilding and coastal defenses after being captured in the first three months of the United Republics invasion of Gran Colombia, along with Panama, put Costa Rica on track to be admitted into the United Republics in the very late 1990's or early 2000's. Costa Rica's economy is made up of a large tourism market, which returned as Costa Rica was taken by the United Republics. Also key components of Costa Rica's economy are fishing, agriculture, and lumber trade. In addition Costa Rica now houses solar panels to power all midsized and smaller cities and towns, giving Costa Rica an all important green energy resource.
