This page is a list of all of the major wars and conflicts in The Land of Meadows timeline from the eleventh century onward.
- War of the English Succession : With the death of Edward the Confessor of England in 1066, the Norse and Normans fight the English for control of the English throne. After William the Bastard seizes the throne following the death of King Harold Godwinson at Stamford Bridge, the Normans and Norse fight for control of England. The resulting Peace of Westminster gives William control of the English throne and forces Normandy to recognize Norse control of Scotland and the English provinces of Northumbria, Tyne and Wear, Cumbria, and County Durham.
- Norwegian Invasion of Denmark : A brief conflict that saw the vengeful King Harald Hardrada of Norway cross the Skagerrak to conquer the kingdom of Sweyn II of Denmark. Despite astounding success on land, the Danish victories at sea convinced Hardrada of the necessity of improving Norwegian naval power.
