Colorado (CO) is a state located in the southwest region of the United States, admitted to the Union on August 1, 1876. It shares land borders with Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska to the east, Buffalo to the north, New Mexico and Texas to the south, and Deseret to the west. It is one of four states to share a common point, the others Deseret, Arizona, and New Mexico. Colorado is characterized by its many tall mountains, as the Rocky Mountains passes through this state. However, there are agricultural fields near the borders of Kansas, Nebraska, and Buffalo, as well as in the Colorado Panhandle.
